Haha I can only imagine what Brandish had to go through with Aquarius lol

I get why people are upset about Aquarius coming back, but when you think about it, it's completely logical for her key to reform. To open the eclipse doors, a celestial spirit Mage would need the keys of all 12 zodiacs, and this door was crucial to a plan that could span for who knows how long. The ability for the keys to reform was an important factor for the likelihood of the plan succeeding. Also, it is a zodiac key, 12 of a kind. Eventually they all would probably be lost forever if once they broke they could never recover. I think Mashima should've just kept Aquarius out and kept her "dead" anyway though because it was good character development for Lucy.

No. Sadly at the start of the story(till avatar arc) I still expected good things from this story and the story treated women well enough for me to NOT expect something as problematic or poorly written as this concept.



What were you exactly expecting from Layla? Some kinda badass Erza version of a celestial spirit? In terms of raw power she never was strong, she was portrayed as a 'princess' type of character, so to say. Frail body, bad health... the way I see it, she did this for her family, and daughter so that she could have a good future, that's kinda the whole point of those people's plan.





Natsu's meeting with Igneel ignited the END plot and was a turning point fo rhis character. Very emotional moment.

Gray's Deliora plot led him to Urtear and then to his father and then to his current END obsessioN(even if huge part of it was whitewashed).

Lucy's dead mother...I guess got Natsu to present and thats it? GG Mashima.





One of the three is not like the others.Just a let down. Horribly written after thought. Can you guess which?

Oh  just the one which out of the three had the biggest mystery.



Layla was always portrayed as someone great. Aquarius kept saying Lucy is nowhere near like Layla. And everyone knows that "sick people" are the most badass in anime/manga. And people expected there to be a REASON on why she was sick in the first place.



She was a great person, and what Aquarius said about her is true. She was good to her spirits too, AND she wasn't afraid to sacrifice her own life. Because with Acnologia in the picture there's no future for them.

Lol Brandish is so submissive towards Aquarius.

So Layla had to use her own magic to help open the eclipse gate and fell ill.

Zoldio is the one who actually killed Gramy.  

Looks like Natsu needs help.

After this long, people are still gonna shit how Fairy Tail story is bad. No, it is not. It is well constructed and really interesting. Still, haters gotta hate I guess.



As for Natsu, I bet my ass he simply overexerted himself. Still, if it is something more that would be awesome. I simply can't wait to see how this will unfold.

I'm dropping my score for FT, these last 2 chapters were garbage. Thank god we're finally done with Brandish for now.

I think that's the issue I have with this "war" compared to the Tartaros Arc.  There's a distinct lack of tension and suspense here.  I mean, last chapter Badd shot Beth from Mermaid Heel dead on with a rocket, and no one even entertains the possibility of her or the nameless fodder that were also hit being dead.  Not to mention we've had three Spriggans lose already and not a single one has actually achieved anything this war.



I'll say what I said after they fended off the first wave: When you have a background character shout "What now, Zeref?" and get no repercussions for it I can't help but feel something is wrong.



Three spriggans? ARe you seriously considering Wahl's puppet as a spriggan? The only one who was actually defeated and even that is not fully certain, he might come back, is Ajeel
