I speak for other timeskip in long running shounens as well, the difference with this is that a major arc is happening right after, not some slow buildup. Unless I'm forgetting something...



Tbh coming from One Piece and Naruto.



The One Piece timeskip was good and did literally the same, we haven´t seen Zorro struggle post timeskip at all since he got his power ups and Luffy struggled against an enemie that proclaimed his power the greatest in the world, who went up against enemies that mopped the floor with the Strawhats.



The Naruto timeskip was the opposite, it had plenty of improvement in power for everyone else except Naruto who became stronger/faster at best and learned to make a bigger Rasengan.



It´s what you prefer tbh,  I liked the training arc in Naruto because it had another main story going meanwhile, however the timeskip felt pointless, which FT and One Piece did better imo.

There's a LQ translation avaible. Natsu's new 'mode' looks interesting and seems powerful too. Nice. BUT DAMN CLIFFHANGER. Next chapter we find out more about the past.

I can see natsu transforming into Etherious form to beat all of Acnologia. But Acnologia will take Zeref in and become the immortal dragon king and the Etherious Natus Dragneel will beat them all Fairy Tail Style.

Right, I just hope Natsu will take a long time before he joins another fight or something like that, no way he uses something like that out of the bat and continues to fight another Spriggan or something like that you know.



As for Zeref, I don't really think he's dead, maybe he himself doesn't know that attack couldn't kill him, sure we have no way to know if that actually happened until more chapters are out but I just think that was way too sudden, all of a sudden the guy is dead.



And it's not like I feel that way because Zeref is the final boss or anything, heck I don't even know how a guy like Zeref can be the final enemy/boss, since Tenroujima you could see that Zeref isn't THAT evil and we still need to know why he wanted to annihilate humanity and things like that, there's just too many things involving Zeref and now even LAYLA of all people had a "important" relationship with him, you can't believe someone like him is dead just like that.

I am bummed out that the fight wasn't more spectacular than this but Zeref ACTUALLY dying all of a sudden is the most interesting turn of events.

Yes please, more of this moar.



Who the fk Anna? Why does he know Layla? What the hell???

Don't think Zeref will be dieing this quickly. But Natsu's new mode is pretty dam op. Also who is Anna?
