Igneel couldn´t defeat E.N.D because he adopted him, he knows that Natsu is E.N.D but he didn´t knew a way of seperating the demon from Natsu, whatever it is.



Igneel couldn´t do it because E.N.D was a child that taught him to love children.



We don't know the full details yet. For all accounts it's possible that Igneel only discovered that END was in fact a child only after a grueling battle.

You might to want to actually understand that END will be exclusively using curses which are not compatible with magic aka dragonslaying.

Where was it ever stated that curses aren't compatible with magic? It was only ever stated that the demons used Curse, and ability stronger than magic (and yet look what happened to Tartaros). It was also stated that removing magic would not remove Curses. So, tell me how curses aren't compatible, please.



Because it hasn't shown to be compatible genius.

Not that I am complaining. Zeref was taken out by Ultear before,so despite all his power,he probably can`t tank much damage.

Acnologia of all things "respects" Zeref enough to directly talk with him(remember when Zeref explained that Acnologia would never talk to humans because for him we're like bugs, the same way Humans would never talk to a bug) and he even mentions that with the power Zeref has, he can rule the world aswell, I seriously doubt Acnologia would say that just because Zeref is immortal, Acnologia has probably seen Zeref powers before and thus why he "respects" him.

It was never said how Layla died. But it was said when, in X777. Year when the dragons disappeared. My theory: What if Zeref used Layla's Celestial powers to activate Eclipse to bring Natsu in x777 and Layla died because of that? Nya, just a theory.



And yeah, Zeref's not dead. He still needs to say Natsu he is his brother. xD



I have a feeling that end is far away. There are many more mysteries to discover. Like who's Anna?

The Dragons went inside the Dragon Slayers when they disappeared, meaning Natsu was already there in the year X777, he was fairly young too, still a child (in appearance anyways)

maybe anna is the cause of the curse. layla helped him to meet the celestial king. mavis foe the love life. igneel for acnologia.
