Brandish (spriggan 12) was so angry when hearing lucy is lyla's daughter... so its clear thay lyla is somehow connected to alvarez/zeref .. but this anna??

Nope, he never intended to.  I am really puzzled by all the people who are saying that Zeref was "defeated".  No he wasn't, he got exactly what he wanted.  He even said as much.  I only hope that he is dead, hate the "not quite dead" motif.



Also, I love how the writer one episodes his climactic fights.  It is one of the things that sets Fairy Tail apart from other Shounen series.  Far better this than 10 weeks of "now, see my super super upgrade power. You beat that?  Now comes my super super super upgrade power."  To do that and be consistent with the story line is a true talent.  



What was so great here wasn't that Natsu had some "super power" (of course it was drawn to be super powerish), rather it was the type of magic that was important.  Mere power couldn't kill Zeref, but the power of the dead could.

I can see natsu transforming into Etherious form to beat all of Acnologia. But Acnologia will take Zeref in and become the immortal dragon king and the Etherious Natus Dragneel will beat them all Fairy Tail Style.

2)Eclipse gate (zeref's creation) and power of celestial spirit wizard

3)Time travel (Natsu was born 400 years ago and in the year X792 , Natsu looks a teen ager.



For 400 years, it's kinda impossible that he grew that look's like a kid (from 400 years ago to x777)



Maybe Layla did this. But for what? And why?

The cause of the curse is Akheseram,or whatever his name is spelled.  I think we should wait before making baseless theories. Anna could be Zeref and Natsu's mother. It's rather ironic,for someone who regretted his life,to thank his mother,if my intuition is right. Rather touching as well. Still,Zeref sure had a way with girls. Besides Natsu,his brother,he only thanked women.



Mashima really outdid himself here. I honestly don`t know what will happen anymore in this manga. i can imagine people getting pissed here,and others preparing to ditch the manga if Mashima can`t keep up this game. Not that I care.



Now that I think about it,we still don`t know the story of the celestial spirits,if they are artificial or not,and if so,who created them and for what. We don`t know what will happen when Lucy gathers all twelve keys,considering Mashima had Lucy refuse Libra and Pisces,I doubt it`s nothing. Maybe next chapter will give us some answers.



Well,considering Lucy looks just like Layla and they have the same VAs in the anime,both in the jap and eng dubs,I wouldn't be surprised if Layla "got around" her death somehow by using her own daughter as a vessel or something of the sort. It's the kind of stuff Mashima could easily pull of. We don't even know how Layla died.
