But I love the Relationship and Backstory of Zeref and Mavis.

mavis was too cute in this chapter. tad a shame that she's dead now.

No, that only happened because although mavis and zeref were immortal they both had the same type of curse that kills life the more you love it. Mavis only died because he happens to love her more, if mavis loved him more it would of been the opposite result. But in the case of natsu, unless he concidentally happens to have the same curse he'll die, even if he had the curse he would die because there's no doubt that zeref loves his brother more, even though he also hates him because of the contradictory curse.

Nice chapter, guess Fairy Heart was supposed to be the 'cure' judging by the next chapter title.

I still wish that this would have been a whole arc(like Magi did with Solomon's story), but whatevs. For only two chapters so far, I've officially decided that Zeref and Mavis are my two favorite FT characters, followed only by Natsu and Erza.



Zeref and Mavis kissed. Holy shit. xD Once again, not much of one for shipping, but...after their conversation there...



So...is the reason why Zeref wants Mavis, because he is in love with her? Or could it be that the Ankhseram's Curse is a key to finding the One True Magic, and it can only be unlocked with the two of them, or something?
