I hope 436 is better.While it's true that it didn't elaborated better. But i guess the maain cause was the eclipse gate and tartaros got resolved nicely.
We already explained before - the eclipse gate transpired the same way in F-Rogue's timeline too. It is the timeline in which F-Lucy came from the future and closed the gate -_-

Future 1 : Lucy openned the Door. 10000 dragons came and killed everyone.
Future 2: Acnologia rules the world. The door was never opened. F. Rogue learns how to control dragons, so he goes to the past to open the door.
This makes even less sense, like Hiro doesnt give a fuck. So those two timelines are individual from one another. The only way to fix that is by explaining the first timeline, because what´s the purpose of the Eclipse project who ordered it and why?
I was under the impression that future Rogue has told them,
At some instance Arcadios mentiones Zeref, which went nowehere so what´s the deal with this? Did Zeref order it during the first timeline to get killed. But for some reason they killed everything besides him?
Currently it feels as if Hiro juggles with to many timelines and he forgott about them.

You are wrong. F. Rogue dint controlled the world Lucy timeline lelz. It was destroyed by the 10000 dragons and Levy wrote the letter
Future rogue was the guy leading those dragons >.<.
The world was destroyed by Future Rogue, and he ruled over what was left.
He brought in the 10000 Dragons because he wanted to avoid Acnologias reign.
Hiro draw a chart where he explicity explains all 3 timeslines.
Lucy cries over the destroyed world where Gajeel/Natsu/Gray and like half the guild died. Levi is the one writing the letter as one of the last survivors after that attack and Lucy has left. Because she´s time traveling. The second alteration of the timeline brought them into a bright future, which is the future this timeline is gonna face.
