Gray kill frosch in f.rogue's timeline?hmmm..won't it be something like he try to kill rogue before his dark side awaken and frosch interfere? Rather than possessing stuffThe one who were possessed Rogue in GMG back then was future Rogue.

Really happy that it did turn out to be Gray that Future Rogue warned Natsu about. It wouldn't have had any impact if it turned out to be someone not close to Natsu because of the look on Natsu's face when it was revealed. Now I'm hoping this doesn't lead to a whole "The future is unavoidable" situation where Rogue and Fro leave anyway and Fro still dies.

I doubt it will. If anything the purpose of this arc is to completely indebt Gray to Natsu so he doesn't fight to kill END but to bring back Natsu like he did for Gray when he was gone dark side in this mini arc.

Guys, what if Gray dint kill Frosch at all? I mean, if Rogue misunderstood what happened?

Maybe some other member attacked Frosch, but last person Rogue saw besides Frosch was Gray.... He probably thought it would be Gray.

If this happens then it most likely Gray is a spy.

But if Gray is evil then we might another development to Gray and Natsu.

We might see Natsu vs Evil Gray and Gray vs Evil natsu

You really are that desperate to avoid Gray being possessed. WHY? Seriously there's no proof of him being a spy. None whatsoever but there's plenty of proof of him being possessed by something. =_=

I just saied what it might happen lelz. If Gray is evil its ok.

Just think this as a possiblity.

Oh look, Mashima ripping the King joke.. he must have really liked Nanatsu no Taizai.

Because Nanatsu clearly invented fat men. =_= *rolls eyes*

No it didn't. But it was one of the recent ones who used that joke, when was the last time you saw that joke in a shonen before Nanatsu? right now Mashima's just ripping ideas from One Piece, Naruto, and a shit load of other shonen.

I'm not saying those are all very original but when you go a similar route to other major works that used similar ideas just recently then comparison is inevitable. At least other works are trying to use something that hasn't been used for a while. Twilight didn't invent vampire and Harry Potter didn't even wizards but every future works that has similar plot points or minute details that's similar to those two are going to be compared for sure and be called a rip off.

Ripping ideas off? It's called INSPIRATION. Jesus fuckin christ you people are ridiculous. Also Mashima already did the Fat person joke with that Risley from Mermaid heel. So kindly fuck off with your baseless accusations

This chapter confirms my thoughts about Gray not being taken over by his powers or being evil. It doesn't matter if Ultear reversed the time or not, there was no sign of future Rogue disappearing when Gray died during GMG. Not to mention during the attack in GMG, Future Rogue made sure only his past self was to be spared.

Logically If future Rogue's main goal was to become the king of the world, then he should have made sure Gray also remained unharmed because in his timeline he was still alive and without Gray there would be no evil Rogue thus his existence would completely vanish.

So it brings the question, how was he going to conquer the world if his existence would've vanished once he killed everyone in GMG? lol fuck logic right?

Either Mashima fucked up the timelines by mistake or what Future Rogue said was just bullshit and he didn't see who actually killed frosch.

Frosche was actually still in danger of dying when the human sized dragon troops started attacking and Natsu even pointed that out to him need I remind you. If the dragons killed everyone in crocus Frosch would be among them. He was also going to corrupt normal rogue after sparing him. So the same effect would be achieved. In fact it would be killing two birds with one stone. Frosch and Gray would both die to the humanoid or the normal dragons. The timeline still fits.

Plus you don't seem to understand how timelines work. Everything that happens in GMG timeline only affect GMG timeline. The events in Future Rogue's timeline still happen no matter what happens in the current timeline. Therefore Future Rogue still exists no matter what.  You seem to think there's only one timeline and that if the past is changed then that future does too. However there are parallel timelines and they intersect and run paralel in the same direction sometimes in different ways but the same outcome. Future Lucy's timeline didn't cease to exist. Future Lucy simply ceased to exist IN THE CURRENT timeline. Because the gate that made it happen was destroyed. She didn't go back to some grand happy end future. She literally crossed over to the other side where everyone else was still VERY much dead. What was saved was the future of the CURRENT timeline. Those other timelines with the bad end and Future Rogue turning STILL happen! That's why no one started vanishing until the medium that brought those elements from other timelines (AKA: the Eclipse Gate) WAS DESTROYED.

The only way to influence a timeline is to bring elements and knowledge from OTHER timelines into the one you wish to influence. If you don't, all the timelines flow in the exact same direction. Even now the current timeline is being influenced by Natsu however there was nothing done to stop Gray's role in killing Frosch until Natsu took Rogue's place.

Time chooses the path of least resistance.

I am going to laugh my ass off when my theories are proven correct.

So Gray kills Frosch and thus started the whole vengeance thing by future rogue.

Well now that Gray is one of the bad guys (atm) i expect a good thrashing from Natsu.

And please FFS MASHIMA ! don't give us the whole TNJ. Natsu needs to beat the shit out of Gray in this Arc, possessed or not. Leaving Juvia is a crime far worse than destroying the world.

Nice moment between Natsu and Lucy.

So it was Gray who killed Frosch. So the events of tartarus happened on Future's Rogue present? didn't the dragons appeared on the day of the grand magic games and stuff?

No in Future ROgue's timelines there were no dragons on the day of the GMG. It was Acnologia that took over the world. Future Rogue himself said so. Remember why the Dragons came out. Because of Future Rogue's intervention

the Future is changed

i suppose , when the dragons appeared and they didn't kill them all , Gray killed Frosch

but now , something changed

its not %100 gray will gonna kill Frosch

or maybe Frosch gonna be killed by gray  in another way

now

because natsu is going to get the job , he will not find gray , maybe he will find another one

the Gray him self will go to sabertooth and destroy the town and kill Frosch there

The dragons never appeared in Future Rogue's timeline. It was just acnologia who took over the world and that was AFTER the GMG.

Gray killing Frosch was still 100% until Natsu stole the job from Rogue in thsi chapter.

It might still happen if Rogue decides not to listen to Natsu just because....
