Fairy Tail Chapter 425 Discussion

  • #2
Well, soon we will know how Frosch was going to die when Natsu faces Gray.

One thing is certain now: Natsu is going to postpone his plan to reunite the guild and go after avatar.

I wouldn't be surprised if Erza or Laxus are going around the continent fetching up the rest of the guild and pull a big damn heroes when Natsu and company get cornered by Avatar. That would also prove to Lucy that the rest of the guild didn't forget about it.

I really hope this Arc has a good ENDing, lol. What a bad pun. Seriously,I hope the bastard reactivates in this arc. E.N.D could answer most of the questions surrounding Zeref and Acnologia, specially now that Igneel is gone. Plus, beating him would be the perfect challenge for a reunited fairy tail.

There are three timelines.

Has everyone forgotten this:

so why didn't natsu think it was a good idea to tell gray about his possible future. Or Rogue? Huh he let it get to this so he could fix it all on his own. He will proably succeed but that was dumb moove

Every heard of tries to alter future being causation of future? For all he knows, Natsu TELLING him that would LEAD to that happening. That is why time travel is tricky

Natsu is trying to have minimal effect on everything else except Gray right now, even now.

That timeline is quite helpful, it seems I had forgotten a few things, myself. Thanks

Aaand the chapter was great, yes.Especially Natsu.

This chapter was really good. It seems that Natsu doesn't have motion sickness anymore probably because his dragon is not inside his body anymore, or he thinks this reindeer isn't actually a vehicle. The Nalu-ish moment we had, fat Sting :/ just no thank you so glad he went back to normal. Im happy the Minerva and Lucy had some type of closure. But the one thing that bothered me is, if F.Rouge knew Gray was the one that killed Frosch why didnt he just try to kill him instead, but whatevs. I hope that its not only Natsu and Lucy vs Avatar or else that'd just mean they're really fodder. Overall good chapter

btw, Minerva is so cute :3

Natsu was never sick on a living animal. Look at all the covers that have him riding animals. He's never sick in them

I honestly think Natsu's mistake was that he didn't tell Rogue everything. These kinds of things tend to end up biting you in the ass after a while.

Enjoyed the Minerva x Lucy resolution.

And...Honestly wouldn't mind it if Gray didn't end up returning to Fairy Tail. I don't dislike him, but Frosch :( <3sarroush said:

Well to be fair he told them stay at the guild no matter what both to Minerva and to Rogue.

This script don't sounds oddly familiar. No,not at all.

I hope Natsu don't wants to call his first son Batsu.

I'm hoping Lucy will be sensible enough to prevent that lol xD

Btw guys. Did Natsu got over with his motion sickness? Or did Wendy cast a spell on him again?

Maybe he thinks of the animal as a friend? Or if Wendy did cast a spell, it would surely work since its been a year since she's used it on him.

A very very slim possibility. Also a potential detail is hidden in the cover coloring. Look at Gray's eyes. They are RED

what they're red ?

i must've missed it...

gotta look again...

Really happy that it did turn out to be Gray that Future Rogue warned Natsu about. It wouldn't have had any impact if it turned out to be someone not close to Natsu because of the look on Natsu's face when it was revealed. Now I'm hoping this doesn't lead to a whole "The future is unavoidable" situation where Rogue and Fro leave anyway and Fro still dies.

I doubt it will. If anything the purpose of this arc is to completely indebt Gray to Natsu so he doesn't fight to kill END but to bring back Natsu like he did for Gray when he was gone dark side in this mini arc.

Oh look, Mashima ripping the King joke.. he must have really liked Nanatsu no Taizai.

Because Nanatsu clearly invented fat men. =_= *rolls eyes*

No it didn't. But it was one of the recent ones who used that joke, when was the last time you saw that joke in a shonen before Nanatsu? right now Mashima's just ripping ideas from One Piece, Naruto, and a shit load of other shonen.

I'm not saying those are all very original but when you go a similar route to other major works that used similar ideas just recently then comparison is inevitable. At least other works are trying to use something that hasn't been used for a while. Twilight didn't invent vampire and Harry Potter didn't even wizards but every future works that has similar plot points or minute details that's similar to those two are going to be compared for sure and be called a rip off.

I bet some people will only believe it when they see it ahah

Oh no then they'll say that Mashima pulled the development out of his ass and that it makes no sense. There's always an excuse for their kind

Well to each his own I guess. If Gray was my fave I would love to see this kind of development, but that's me.

That's because you are a fan and not a fanboy/fangirl o/
