Well,it's obviously different because Lucy only thinks of Gray as a dear friend. If Natsu were the one who strayed and Gray promised to bring him back,then it would be more proper.



Sakura,for some reason,managed to not just sincerely fall in love with Sasuke but friendzone Naruto,a guy who really loved her to the point he sacrificed himself repeatedly to bring her loved one back.



Well,this trope of a missing friend/"I promise to bring him/her back" is really common. But,strangely,I don't mind it. Guess I am a sucker for it.

True, but since Natsu is as strong as he is, I don't see them as such a big thread, then again they  might be "troublesome" in that case, that's a nice surprise.

Things are finally starting to get interesting. I can't wait to see how this story goes. I hope that Avatars are some bigger enemies and not just there as part of Gray's story.  I was praying that Sting was not next victim of "Fat club". And Minerva is conquered, that much is certain. What is left is to see how story unravels between Natsu and Gray.



Btw, did anyone else notice that Natsu didn't have motion sickness? I don't remember Wendy casting Troia.

It's really sad that Gray's rash decisions once again costed him someone important. His decision to face deliora resulted in Ur's death. His decision to infiltrate/join avatar (it depends on how much control of his actions he has) led to Urtear's end.



Now this is curious. Gray was killed,so Frosch should have survived in X792... That should have retconned future Rogue.  But it didn't. Maybe Frosch still dies in the future even if Gray doesn't pull the trigger? or could it be that it was set in stone that Urtear would use last ages?



Regardless,I am pretty sure that Natsu taking the job instead won't stop Rogue from following. He was pretty smart in not explaining,but I doubt that he,Lucy and perhaps Wendy and Juvia are enough to take Avatar on.



...We don't know the situation that led to Frosch's death,plus Future Rogue was quite chilled when his plan threatened to kill Frosch. It could have been an accident,or Frosch was killed in a "shoot him through the  hostage" situation.



The events of GMG only prevented Future Lucy's timeline since that was the timeline where Future Rogue opened the gates and they were not closed again. Future Rogue's timeline is closer to the present timeline since there were no dragons coming in to wreck the world but it was only Acnologia. As such it still aligned.

For the umpteenth time. NATSU DOES NOT GET SICK ON LIVING THINGS. ONLY ON ARTIFICIAL TRANSPORTATION



This is from Fairy Tail Wikia: "As a Dragon Slayer, Natsu suffers from motion sickness. Natsu becomes sick from riding on any form of transportation, even if the transportation happens to be other people as shown when he was carried by Lucy."



We already know there are exceptions to motion sickness as Wendy didn't get sick when she was on Nirvana. And I don't remember ever being stated that Natsu is sick only on non-living transportation.



And also, you don't have to be a dick. I get it that you are madly in love with Fairy Tail and that you have need (for whatever reason) to answer all the questions on Fairy Tail threads, but that doesn't mean that I will take shit from you. If you want to discuss things normally I welcome it, but if you are being piece of shit all you get from me is middle finger and complete ignore.

Different meaning (Nardo is promising Miss Deadweight he will bring back his runaway bride, Natsu is asking Lucy to trust him).

Different context (Nardo had a hardon about Sasgay, Natsu just wants to bring guild back together and prevent prophetic words from future)

Also the characters and story in FT are not shit.

The difference between Naruto and this(apart from this not being written by typewritter monkeys) is that Natsu's promise is far more sensible and fitting - he is not promising to bring back a runaway romance. He is reassuring Lucy that he will put the guild back together n o matter what and asking to trust him for now no matter how weird his actions might seem.  Nardo made a childish reassurance to a deadweight character for a selfish wish. Natsu is not "reassuring" Lucy or promising something - he is asking for her trust because he knows she has problems with that after everyone left.



Either way  it has absolutely no similarities to Naruto and Lucy looks uncomfortable with Nasu hiding stuff from her - certainly won't help her trust issues.



No, my friend, I believe Naruto is a piece of trash manga that deserves to be forgotten and bashed. I'm terribly sorry if you make such assumptions based on such superficial little statements and write three paragraphs trying to show how Fairy Tail is different of Naruto only because I made a little joke based on similar LINES, nothing more.

Do you think Avatar will be destroyed soon and Gray turns normal?
