Loved the chapter. Natsu was really impressive in this one, I like how this ties in with the GMG arc. Now one thing that got me thinking...  how does Natsu knows that Gray is in Avatar,  yes F!Rogue said that Gray kills Frosch, but that not explain why Natsu knows why Gray is in that guild. Hope we get the answer to that.

I'm going to put that down as Intuition and deduction.

Exhibit A: It's one year later just as Future Rogue warned him.

Exhibit B: Juvia said Gray started acting strange not coming home as often before stopping completely

Exhibit C: Rogue and Minerva are sent to deal with a dark guild at the same point in time that Future Rogue warned him Frosch would die. Gray is also missing.

Plus he's not really sure which is why he told Rogue to stay at the guild and protect Frosch. If he was certain Gray was with Avatar he wouldn't have given that warning. But it's a strong hint and he's pursuing that lead.

Nice, I had similar thoughts, but then  I thought."hey, its Natsu he ain't that  smart". Ohh boy  was I wrong.

Destiny in fiction isn't so simple as that.

Let's suppose manga/anime/jrpg caracter Z is destined to go to city X and die.let's say he goes there and survives thanks to a miracle,a warning from some time traveller,or a prediction of the future. You would think "destiny is over",and so would caracter Z. Then,he goes to a city that's just like X and dies.

that's how destiny works in fiction. In the end, the prediction of caracter X being killed in city X happened, despite the slight deviations. Of course, shounen mangas usually subvert fate right at the very end.

Rave master was a clear exemple of this.

Nice moment between Natsu and Lucy.

So it was Gray who killed Frosch. So the events of tartarus happened on Future's Rogue present? didn't the dragons appeared on the day of the grand magic games and stuff?

Well...Natsu is actually pretty serious...what does he lknow about what Gray is possibly doing...and That is ST Guild? Nice...but FT Guild is Better.

...Aww....Natsu's serious moment..andf Lucy cannot even look him without blushing...tough Neck Snap almost possible...

Yey!!! IT IS YUKINO!!! ....O.O Sting....WTF HAPPENED TO YOU!!!?!?! LOL!!! So Yukino's power made him thin again...thank God.

Aw, not evil Minerva outlook makes her Cute! XD and more Beautiful!! she really tries to redeem herself! X3

So...he realized it....wait That darkness that is in Gray....is that thing in Future Rogue....OOOOOooooH.HHhhhh....Shhhiiiiittttt.....We are heading Brutal times...and maybe to the thing that Was so sadly Common in Mashima-sensei's last work..Rave....Character Deaths....!!!!

So Gray killed Frosch in Future-Rogue's past...

Considering all the discussons from the last chapter... I doubt that Gray would kill Frosch if he's just a spy. It would be OOC to do so. But... time will tell.

And Natsu demonstrated his desire to bring back Fairy Tail as guild in one of the most impressive ways: He is willing to consider a friend as an enemy in order to bring him back. This's going to be a really good fight.

Also: Minerva apologizing to Lucy. I'm glad she is back in Sabertooth and changed her way of thinking.

And well.... Happy.... You and Frosch would be a great team.

Such rich irony. Gray made it possible for Rogue to be corrupted, time travel to X791 and manipulate the opening of the eclipse.

It's really sad that Gray's rash decisions once again costed him someone important. His decision to face deliora resulted in Ur's death. His decision to infiltrate/join avatar (it depends on how much control of his actions he has) led to Urtear's end.

Now this is curious. Gray was killed,so Frosch should have survived in X792... That should have retconned future Rogue.  But it didn't. Maybe Frosch still dies in the future even if Gray doesn't pull the trigger? or could it be that it was set in stone that Urtear would use last ages?

Regardless,I am pretty sure that Natsu taking the job instead won't stop Rogue from following. He was pretty smart in not explaining, but I doubt that he,Lucy and perhaps Wendy and Juvia are enough to take Avatar on.

Yeah, Gray was killed... temporarily.

In the future Future-Rogue came from the Eclipse-Gate was closed by Lucy. Not a  single dragon made it through the gate, Gray turned evil, killed Frosch, Rogue became possesed by a shadow and Acnologia started to rule the world. This is the timeline Future-Rogue comes from, the timeline he wanted to change.

Now, dragons invaded Fiore but they were sent back due to the destruction of the gate and Gray survived thanks to Ultear's magic.

So in fact nothing has changed except that Natsu knows what is going to happen and what is going to trigger Rogue in becoming like his future self.

So ironacally Ultear sacrificing herself for the sake of Fiore will lead to trigger Rogue... if Natsu won't be able to stop it.
