Every heard of tries to alter future being causation of future? For all he knows, Natsu TELLING him that would LEAD to that happening. That is why time travel is tricky

Natsu is trying to have minimal effect on everything else except Gray right now, even now.

Now the thing with natsu is he flies between wise beyond his years and painfully dumb. (not unlike goku and other shounene hero's before him) So him keeping this information to himself still feels odd to me. Not even telling the master or guildarts and getting some concil from them before decing what to do. Anyway thats past

Mashima knows how to tease us NaLu shippers well. And I prefer it this way rather than Mashima burying their relationship together now in the story. It makes my shipping sensors go overload. XD

I don't know about Zeref but too early to discuss about END though. We don't even know what type of personality END has. What if he had his own motives and a good backstory? Personally I look forward to the events which lead to END battling Igneel and how kid Natsu ended up with Igneel while END was sealed.

It's option number two. Living things don't affect him. Multiple covers and in canon instances support that angle.
