Lots of assumptions in this post, considering we know absolutely nothing about Lucy this past year beyond her job.



With Natsu the training is emphasized because that was his main motivation and because he felt weak. With others it is pretty much a 100% assumption that they got stronger or trained. It is just not as emphasized by story that they did because every ft member had different motivations going into timeskip.



Lucy was desperate about being left alone so it is only normal that the first thing we see about her is that she kept tabs on FT members and is trying to collect them back.  However it would be really stupid to believe that its all she did. Its not like its the first time Lucy got stronger via practicing offscreen.

Super hyped to see how the manga will take root from here.

I expect few people to train. Laxus felt that he is weak, Gajeel wont loose to Natsu and he probably was told by Lucy about training trip. Gray obtained skill he needs to master. Erza is Erza so she doesn't need to train at all.



Sorry. I'm just sad the whole time skip happened so fast and we get Natsu again...

It felt weird that one day She was like go fight this random pinapple guy and next day was all knowing oracle about the other team. You don't need to apologize I was just curious why you're talking crap about another "asspull". It's a made up story you can't expect everything to be like real life and for there to be explanations behind everything. If you like Fairy Tail enough to be discussing it here then you should know that that "asspull" is Fairy Tail's style. There's been things like that throughout the entire manga so to be this far into you should just expect it to happen and not be upset when it does. I personally like all the things Fairy Tail does. With power ups and whatever else. I think it's phenomenol



I have no idea what changed. Those aspulls didn't bother me in the past. I was corrupted by FT haters or by reading other manga :D Lol corrupted by FT haters

The amount of fail reading comprehension is quite disturbing on this forum. LUCY IS NOT WORKING AS A F'ING MODEL. THAT PANEL WAS PURELY FOR SARCASMS/FAN SERVICE. This whole chapter was well written because it's a great transition from disbanding the guild after a long arc to a brand new arc where everyone have grown dramatically. This chapter shows Lucy's massive growth over the past year (her maturity, her dream job as a writer, and her wanting to bring back Fairy Tail). Also her ability to calmly assess the tournament fight and predict the victor by measuring their magical power is something new that we have never seen. This is actually quite similar to Mavis analytical skills.



And as said before, if this is indeed going down the Rave Master route then Lucy will be the one who will destroy Zeref in the end.



For some reason I find both to have comparable "traits" I guess... just to name a few:

1. Both are summoners. One summons demons and the other summons celestial spirits (angels). Guess the author didn't want to go down the cliche route.

2. Zeref has the Contradictory Curse that takes away life due to the fear and darkness. Lucy has the One Magic (this will be revealed eventually) that creates life from love and light. Similar to how Ellie has power over Atherius or w/e it was called I can't remember.



But yeah if this is like RAVE then Layla Heartfilia is prolly Lucy with memory loss or something new. And I bet Lucy is the one who created the Celestial Spirit World as she has been the only one shown capable of summoning more than 2 spirits (not including Layla if my theory is correct about Layla being the same person as Lucy). Also she was able to summon 8+ spirits at the same time at one point and unconsciously summon the Spirit King to have Loki unbanished.

Natsu looks like a homeless..... <('O'<)



He burns a stadium and gets everyone KO: still Fairy Tail's style. Can't wait to see the others u.u
