Fairy Tail Chapter 385 Discussion

I don't think Lucy will want to break all of her keys to obtain their powers. The spirits are her close friends and partners. It will be sad to never see your friend again. In the previous chapter, she looks so heartbtoken when she have to break Aquarius's key. Imagine how sad she will be if she have to break the keys one after another.  :(

I just liked lucy cuz she had boobs and ended up in the most awkward situations wif natsu. but now that she has REAL power I can only predict good things for the show.

Hohoho now that was a good chapter. I cannot wait to see Spirit king's fight with Hades.

What a chapter, what an awesome battle. I don't know how it will end.



Lucy finally got a powerup, awesome. I seems everyone else on the team gets powerups except for Lucy, so about time. Jackel better stay down and not get up. Lucy finally gets a victory, Hiro better not ruin it by Jackel getting up and saying I will show you my true power. No just no, let's Lucy have this.



Kyouka without her mask, oh yeah she is hot at least by human standards. Maybe for a demon she and Sayla are hideous.

Who ya calling Lucy an useless person? Her power (maybe) wiped out Jackal! Badass Lucy is here to save the badass world. -Applauds-

When i first saw the water bubble shield around lucy i was like "oh there probably gonna do some thing where Aquarius comes through the gate on her own to save her" and was expecting the worst. But, i was pleasantly surprised with how it actually turned out. I hope lucy's water power is permanent because i'd be great if she could hold her own in a fight without having to rely on a pair of keys she may or may not even have on her at all times. also, once all the fighting is done it could result in a really funny scene with juvia thinking shes copying her or something to get gray's attention. :P

Now that was awesome Lucy! I was so hyped last time she was about to use Urano Metria in Great Magic Games...but we all know how that ended... :(

holy shet did lucy aquire Aquarius' power?

So she lost access to seeing Aquarius but got her powers for herself? that's a double upgrade if you ask me as she won't have to deal with that fish face's attitude.



Also, how did she use Aquarius' power if there wasn't any water nearby? Plot hole or it's that great an upgrade?

Saying that Lucy is strong enough with just the 12 keys is another idiot remark.if any spirit could fight toe-to toe against enemies as strong as Jackal and Torafusa,than yes,the magic is strong.But the moment you see that the only spirits strong enough are Aquarius and Loki,and even them can only fight to a stalemate,you see what I mean



When Lucy tried to use Scorpion against jackal,he simply smothered the attack and than countered swiftly.She can barely survive summoning 3 spirits at once for an extended battle,and it looks like really few can.

Had Jackal not finished Loki and Virgo off,Lucy would have died.



Franmalth in a instant  absorbed Aries and Taurus.Some minutes later,he even ambushed Lucy and Wendy when they were running away from him and Keyes to go stop face's activation.



Flare is so weak that Laxus defeated her in one blow.Lucy had to summon 3 spirits in order to corner her.laxus is godly powerful,but the nine gates of tartarus and the future enemies aren't weak as Flare.



lucy needs to defend herself and her friends,she needs more power in order to catch up with Natsu,Gray and the others.Celestial spirit magic already reached it's limit,the only way we currently know is that if Lucy raises her magic power,the spirits will get stronger...but there is no time for this.



But what if by breaking her keys she merges with their powers?Lucy will get rid of her weakness and grow frightfully strong.She will be able to play up her role nicely.



Also,IF YOU ARE AFRAID SHE IS GONNA BE OVERPOWERED,DON'T WORRY:SHE WILL.DID YOU READ RAVE MASTER?There is your answer. Elie was as useless as Lucy till mid-end game.Than,she was op enough to overpower end-game level antagonists.



Also,you can say that this shouldn't happen,but I bet that when Lucy is useless,you mock her like other guys here.This isn't a issue here,it is a useless debate.What I am really curious is how Lucy will get stronger.Can she stack the powers of the other 12 spirits like what she did with Aquarius?

Also pretty much my thoughts. Lucy will have to break all the keys till the end of the manga, possibly with quite a bit of villain-one-shotting in between, if RAVE's to go by.




I just fear that Hiro will yet again do the same twist with Layla=Lucy.



The fact that Spirit King insistently refers to her as "Old Friend" and Aquarius did the whole comparison of how different Lucy is from Layla, tips me off towards that.
