The chapter was predictable; but good nonetheless.

It only took 1 minute to change the future!

RIP Ultear.

You died and no one will know what you did.

So using the Last Ages, requires all of the user's life. Why 1 minute? Did her life only worth 1 minute?

Huge sigh of relief tbh. Gray TT.TT

Ultear's life is worth one minute, ouch.

The only noteworthy thing that came from this chapter is the eventual (more emotional than Ultear's death) scene where Meredy is crying her eyes out.

1 minute chump!

No really though. I may not have liked Ultear much in the beginning but she grew on me.

RIP hot character. T__T

Gray and the others were NOT worth Ultear's life =_=

Fucking Juvia was certainly not worth that minute.

It's her damn fault for talking about her ass instead of watching her damn surroundings when they're in the middle of a freaking fight.

Rage.

I get her logic, but I'm still not happy she's dead and Gray isn't. This arc has been crappy since the start of the Fairy Games, and the high point of the arc (Gray's death) was just erased with some sappy garbage that "changes the fate of humanity".

Gray dying would have (ironically) provided some much needed life to this series, which is growing more and more bland by the chapter. A shame for such a once great series.

Oh yes, play by the tunes of foreseeable logic.

Disappointed, quite much. After this chapter, I'm removing FT from my favorites (it's been in question for a long time now ...). I desperately hoped that mangaka would have balls to actually do something beyond "FT realm" but, nope. It's okay, you don't have to kill Gray per say, but for fucks sake at least kill someone that's been there for a long time and often had a lot of screen time. But ... I guess not. Meh ... my expectations were unrealistic anyway.

Yeah, characters definitely have to be killed on a 'first come, first served' basis. I mean, though, by that logic, Ultear was introduced in the very first chapter, even before Natsu and Lucy, so doesn't that mean she should die before Gray?

As for screen time, that was the whole point of Ultear being focused on for the past few chapters, to give her death weight. Gray's last  semi-significant role in the story was a simple fight against Lyon and Chelia. Him dying with no foreshadowing (in various applications of the word) and only a 3 page buildup would've been stupid

meh. death doesn't mean shit in this manga. she'll be back later. also, I kinda doubt a battle of this scale being turned around with 1min. of precognition.

i just got an account to say this...

to all the people saying mashima doesnt have the balls to kill off characters...have you read Rave Master?

So many characters died in Rave it was a saddd manga, thats why mashima wanted to make FT a "fun", happier manga with no one dying

And Rave is probably one of the greatest mangas out there of all time, IMO
