*shrug* I don't see how planning a strategy before the fight, even with the help of Mavis, is cheating. If any telepathy is to be seen, it's just when Mavis tells them to start. Mavis is technically not the master anyway, but even then she hasn't done anything to actually interfere. She just came up with the tactics.



And in case you didn't know, strategies aren't perfect. Sure, she planned those tactics based on what appears to be clairvoyant-like analysis, but it's up to the actual team to do the work and win the fights. This isn't just for winning the tournament, but also for saving Lucy.



I'm just surprised that the waiting was part of a bigger strategy. At first I thought those guys were waiting so their opponents (namely Sabertooth) would take the chance and fight them there instead of bumping into them later on.

Nice strategy for the battle, they waited for the weaker one to be eliminated.

The action was a bit tame considering all the magical talent on show. I guess Mashima is saving the epic battles for later.

Ok, fairy tail has good plans, or at least Mavi has the good plans. But was wierd that nobody attack the guil when they just they in the same place.

Liking the final match, just wish things moved faster. 4/5.
