yup, I'm pretty sure Minerva is just manipulating the whole ST for her future actions...Well, everything here is still just speculation though.

I'm still kinda phased as to what role will the other guilds have when the eclypse apocalypse something plan starts to go into motion...And I'm guessing Jellal could have some mega cool "I'll sacrifice myself in the last moment for a better future live on FAIRY TAIL Erza I love you" moment, since he's one of the most exploited characters outside FT and he's hated around the world. Crime Sorciere surviving with him would seem a little boring and anticlimatic...But that's just an opinion that has little to do with the chapter.

(and I didn't bring in the mermaid heel and all that)

What I'm thinking about future ST is that Rogue and Sting WON'T join Fairy Tail, they'll either be under Minerva or join Crime Sorciere:

fact 1--> if Sting really killed the master, he is now officially an outlaw (unless Minerva covers it up for him, but a leak of information is sure to happen eventually since all the guild members were watching, but she can prob. blackmail them somehow)

where do all outlaws that are in fact good-hearted and have lot of respect towards Natsu/FT go? Yes, correct. Well, Rogue joining him is a given since he's something like his sidekick lol.

Now I rly said everything coming to my mind about this chapter.

ST's master is a real dick for killing Lector like that. Honestly I wouldn't mind if he got owned right there by Sting, but I doubt he did.

The guy got shot through the chest with a holy lazer, bleeding from the injury itself and his mouth.

Unless he has massive stamina or great healing, he is down for the count.

this is fairy tail...

Actually that might not be that true.

we do not know how strong current FT members are after the whole timeskip and magic strength stuff. For all we know current Natsu is hades-level or something. Its really impossible to determine current power levels of FT characters unless they face a dragon again.

That's too much of a statement. Natsu Hades-Level? No way. Hades beat Makarov in a fair fight thereofre he is SW level. Natsu beat him cuz of the Tree-revival by Ultear and the destruction of the Hades-heart by the Neko-Squad. The heart was a great asspul indeed(we need to face some facts) but since it happened we need to consider it as a fact in our power-scaling discussions(not to mention the fact that the Hades battle was 5vs1->then Laxusvs Hades, and then even though we saw for the 1st time Lighting/Fire Natsu and it was almost on par with Hades he STILL managed to get back up). Natsu Hades-level is too much. An unofficial S-class mage, that he is but SW-level? Nyahh.

Sting's reaction to her does not matter as long as she is stronger than him

And yeah Sting would leave, unless she manipulates Sting to direct his hate towards Natsu. Which is kind of hard to do with Lector alive. With Lector being dead she can cause Sting to put everything in fulfilling his promise to Lector of defeating Natsu, as well as to make Sting blame Natsu in a way for what happened.

This chapter does seem to be all about setting up motivations for the final competition.

I didn't view it like that but I can clearly see your point this time. The way I viewed it was by showing him that she is different than Genma (by saving Lecter) she would gain his trust but the way you view it is also greatly possible. We will see.

I just think that Lecter's death seemed too fast and unimportant to be true

And even with the heart it still took a combined attack to take him down so no Natsu is nowhere near Hades Level. This is not an RPG game where the one who lands the final hit gets all the experience and loot. Everyone on the scene played a part which is why I find laughable how people can say Natsu is overpowered when most of the time the big bads are ground down in a series of set up fights before Natsu gets to them and even after that he most of the time has someone backing him up.

Then again you might have missed Minerva's smirk from the shadows

Lisanna is not part of the eclipse plan tho. While Lucy is meant to be a unwilling component of it. This figure knows about the Eclipse plan and that's top secret. So only way to know about that is living through it and I doubt anyone will figure out its existence once the violence breaks out. Heck Levy sure didn't mention it.

did anyone else notice that the hooded girl is wearing sandals? i've never seen lucy wear sandals, she usually wearing knee high boots. which makes me think its not lucy  but maybe lisanna?

Wow, Lector possibly dead, Sabretooth master as well. More questions about dragons. and it seems Minerva is up to something because she was happy after what Sting did...

What I see coming is probably 2 new DS in FT soon unless what was predicted by future Levi comes to fruition... (doubtful as of right now...)
