With Thorfinn out of action and the time to peacefully resolve this having passed, I wonder what the plan is now.

Yeah, that’s how I felt too. One had gotten so used to Thorfinn’s pacifist ways that it feels like another lifetime when big battles were the bread and butter of this story.
