On the planet Nethel, humankind has long discovered magic, potentially accessible to anyone, in an ancient tomb under the ice of the Western Axis, and since then, every person would gain a unique set of traits belonging to a range of three random \'elements\' on birth, but only those born into the quickly growing clans could access the secrets of harnessing this power. Martial artists and war fanatics banded together to provide a new method of self-defence for the public, creating skill sets called \'arts\', inspired by magic, to influence and even manipulate some of the mystical \'elements\'. However, as technology grew more and more advanced, sent skyrocketing by magical innovation, and humanity grew stronger still, the universe, strained by magic, began to fracture.
And from those cracks, things began to escape.
The shattered remains of countless dead alternate universes spawned the Rathak, creatures of terrifying power, corroded and twisted by the void between worlds. They broke through the ruptures of Nethel\'s universe, destroying swathes of planets and star systems, wiping out almost every trace of humanity, until they arrived at Avalon, the most ancient and greatest astral stronghold, which held on against the onslaught of monsters for nearly three decades, until one day, a lonely orphan boy, abandoned and alone, awakened the \'void\' element, and in the influx of chaotic magic, the Rathak found a path, slipping into the city, and beginning the countdown to the end of the world.
To remedy his mistake, the cause of the incoming apocalypse, self-named Torna, must adventure through the broken universe to claim his Inheritance - the \'Voidsongs\' - and use his harrowing power to contain the invasion, and to prevent the inevitable erasure of the last life in his world.
