The Gilded Pawn: A Game of Thorns

SFGTMH is a well-written story with a lot of potential. TLDR: I enjoyed it.13 chapters in, there are a lot of typical guys, but the main character manages to stay refreshing with his dedication to fatherhood and a bit of hyperbole to how he reacts to situations.Setting-wise, I think the world could do with a bit more fleshing out, perhaps during the MCs' next downtime.It's a bit early to comment on character development, but I hope that the daughter especially is shown to change over time as she grows, given her age and the stressors of the situation.

She was not a fool.  She knew what Shen Ya meant but her feelings were true.  She was being truthful yet was treated like this.
