Ruins of Destiny follows the story of Linus, a young man exiled to ancient ruins by the emperor during a deadly battle for the throne. Linus\'s father, once a great general and loyal to the old king, lost everything due to a political gamble and was killed. Surrounded by enemies who seek the mystical \"heaven fragment\" he retrieved from the ruins, Linus meets his end. However, he transcends time and finds himself back at the moment of his father\'s execution.

Determined to change his fate and seeking vengeance, Linus navigates the dark realm of Inception, a space where he wields god-like powers. With his trusted spirit servant Link and the enigmatic bug race he created, Linus delves into the mysteries of the heaven fragment and the dark magic that has shaped his destiny.

As he confronts old enemies, including the Bishop of Light, Sard, and uncovers hidden betrayals within the divine ranks, Linus\'s journey becomes a gripping tale of power, betrayal, and redemption. He battles with the dark forces within and around him, seeking to rewrite the destiny that once led to his downfall

The first chapter is very intense, the beginning is interesting, I feel like it's going to be a power struggle. Wen Ran promises to be an overpowered character. The writing of the story so far is good, with astronomical work behind it. I hope the cosmology of the universe will live up to the expectations.

on thing I have noticed the author loves high numbers(i ddont feel comfortable with this)1::12 stages for elemental talent while normal people have atleast level6 talent2::even low level EC is worth thousands of gold while we see HD EC being  spent like air3::every student gets a thousand merits while even a little punish can take that away so I assume that 1merit isn't worth much why are numbers worth so little in  hereno offence I really like this novel it's filled with new ideas an important aspect is that he isn't rebornhe got those  bloodlines cause he deserved thatwe see personal growth I sometimes wonder if  the author is some psychologist or sthwonder if author has read douluo dalu novel seriesthere are 10 cultivation realms in there with each having a name of their own but memorising them is easy because they have a number attached to themit would be nice if you could ad that as well for example call some one a first stage rune master or etc

Instead of a super messed up face that people couldn't bear to see, her face was surprisingly normal.  By normal I meant, no barely hanging eyeballs, no black and garish scars on her face, and no super ugly hair style. Her face skin was smooth but pale, the kind of pale that would make ones remember for a long time. Her eyes were surprisingly black and a bit slanted. Her nose was straight and her lips were blood red. Instead of ugly and scary, her face leaned towards creepy and unusual; a perfect combination of elf and devil, maybe. Her hair was long and a bit messed up, but not to the point like Kunti's.
