Once an ordinary high school student, the protagonist finds himself transported to another world by a truck. Upon awakening, he discovers he is now bound to a girl roughly his age from before the incident, and his body has transformed into something non-human. Given a new identity as the girl's contracted spirit, he lives each day by her side.
