The world believes Elysia Online is just an ordinary virtual game—a vast fantasy world filled with adventure and a competitive ranking system.

But the truth is far darker.

Beneath its complex system, this game is a trap designed to lure in dangerous individuals—the Player Killers who take pleasure in torture and murder.

The government created Elysia Online as a filtering tool, a way to identify psychopaths who could become threats in the real world.
Inside the game, Player Killers experience pain as if it were real, and they relentlessly hunt powerful targets to slaughter.

And worst of all...

No one can log out.

A Nonexistent NPC
Rei Aetheros—a mere NPC working as a porter in the starting city.

But unlike other NPCs, he is aware.

He can see his own status, something that should be impossible for an NPC.

Even stranger, his status is empty—only his name appears, with no other information.

As he struggles to understand his existence, he unknowingly gets caught in a much larger conflict.

The Player Killers begin to move.

They have set their sights on the Top Rank, the strongest players in this world.

But only Rei can see the hidden identities of the Player Killers.
Only he knows how dangerous they truly are.
And only he realizes that Elysia Online is far more than just a game.

Vengeance, Trust, and a Hidden Truth
Along his journey, Rei encounters a mysterious woman—a former Player Killer seeking revenge on someone within their ranks.

Together, they embark on a journey to uncover the identity of the shadowy figure controlling the Player Killers from behind the scenes.

But the deeper Rei delves...

The more horrifying secrets he unravels.

What is the truth behind this game?
Why does he, an NPC, possess self-awareness?
And most importantly... how do they escape this world?

The answers to everything lie at the highest floor of this world.

But waiting there... is a truth not everyone is ready to face.

I like the story so far. It shows how people with power can change or stay the same. Overall, a good story is the same as the love and lust manipulation system it has more character development than in this one. now, just one question I was wondering what happened to the body control system because I was going to read that one too.

I think this is done quite well for an aspiring author. It is obvious that he cares for the world that he's building. I believe the author is trying to create a more original piece of work that tries to separate itself from common archetypes. Overall, I am both rooting for the author and the world they are trying to create.
