"So you are Kelly Ho, my new accountant!" he asked, glancing at her degrees in the file she provided.
She fumbled, biting her lips. "Y-yes S-I-r"
"Are you really an accountant?"
He got up from his chair with the file in his hand. He sat on his desk in front of her such that she looked away taming his beautiful body.
Pushing the specs back on her nose bridge, she rested her hands in her thighs. "Yes sir, with three years experience!"
She replied only to be pulled up suddenly from the seat in his arms. He pulled her close, locking his arm around her waist while he ran the thumb of his other hand on the corner of her lips. "Nah! I am sure you are lying because— you are too hot to be a boring accountant!"

His arrival turned the course of her life upside down. Unearthed secrets Kelly never knew existed. Brought the true, vile and dark face of her boyfriend that was unknown to the world.

As a comedy manga, it delivers. Every day, due to their predicament, they find themselves in unique and humorous situations. They have to use the bathroom together, come up with the most absurd excuses as to why they can't be separated, and try to avoid scenarios that might keep them apart.
Sometimes, they spot the professor and attempt to exact revenge or resolve their issue. Unfortunately, things never go their way.
In short, their lives are a living nightmare, but for readers, it's a funny journey.
Regarding the romance aspect of the manga... it's terrible, just terrible. Before she develops feelings for the main character, the female lead has a crush on two other guys, one of whom she was completely infatuated with. I wouldn't have a problem with this if there were scenes convincing me that she loves the main character the most. However, that didn't happen. The female lead's feelings don't feel genuine at all. It's as if she's with the main character out of convenience, simply because she couldn't get the other two guys, meaning he's really her only option left. I don't know about you, but I didn't feel any satisfaction.
On a much more positive note, I thought the art was good. The backgrounds and character designs are quite appealing. Also, the reactions really enhance the comedy.
Lastly, we have the characters. Arata, our protagonist and main male lead, while nice, started off a bit too perverted for my taste. Fortunately, he undergoes necessary character development. He learns how to stand up for himself and make sound decisions. After his development, his perverted thoughts just make him seem like any ordinary boy. He has them, but they don't make you want to punch him. By the end, he's a likable and relatable guy. Anyone would feel jealous if they saw their crush staring at some other dude.
Hatsune is our main female lead. I didn't particularly like her, but I didn't hate her either. She was naive and a goody two shoes. I especially didn't like her when it came to the romance; you just couldn't help but feel bad for Arata. On the bright side, she genuinely cared for Arata as a friend. She was truly kind; she just fell flat when it came to romance.
Essentially, Arata is great, and Hatsune is okay to the point where you're not going to drop the manga, but you certainly aren't going to continue reading it for her.
If you're looking for a comedy manga, then this is a pretty solid choice. If you're after a satisfying romance, though, there are far better options out there. The romance portion will most likely irritate you more than it will satisfy you.

I mean, seriously, what was going on with the plot? There’s no explanation as to why the professor used b-shock on both characters, and it seems like the writer doesn’t even know how to craft a decent story.
It feels like the author just woke up one day, decided they were done, and then wrapped things up in the next chapter without any closure.
And let’s talk about the couple—there isn’t a single scene in this story that could be considered remotely romantic.
Also, the lie made by her friend was never resolved, and whatever happened afterward was simply left hanging.
Whoever wrote this trash should really reconsider their choice to publish it.
That’s all I have to say.
Naturally, the journey for Arata and Hatsune, who hadn't really met before, is quite challenging. They are compelled to share living quarters and remain together at all times. The author skillfully crafts numerous hilarious situations for them, starting from how to handle bathroom breaks to the difficulties of finding jobs that allow them to be together constantly. Character development is one of the standout features here. Both characters exhibit immaturity in their own ways, and their differences make it tough for them to learn to respect and care for each other.
I would recommend this manga to anyone looking for a light-hearted and amusing read, featuring appealing art and engaging characters.
The narrative centers around two individuals thrust into an unusual situation and compelled to cohabit. The character development is shared but, as is typical for seinen, mainly emphasizes the male protagonist. Contrary to expectations, it doesn't delve heavily into perverted humor or "borderline H" content. Instead, it's a comedy about how two people who wouldn't ordinarily acknowledge each other come to develop feelings.
Story - Unique and contemporary
Art - Balanced between humor and seriousness when necessary
Characters - Primarily focused on the male lead, portraying him as a "good guy"
Enjoyment - Highly enjoyable
Overall - One of the top stories in the realm of romantic comedies
Always keep in mind, "Never Judge A Book By Its Cover," as you might uncover a truly delightful read. =3

One of the enjoyable aspects of the series is witnessing the realistic reactions to this bizarre situation. The characters start questioning practical matters: what happens when they need to use the restroom? How can they maintain jobs under these conditions? The humor escalates when the allowable distance between them is reduced to just 1 meter. Scenes where they must constantly cling together—pretending to be a couple in public because otherwise why would they be so close—carry an absurd yet logical consistency. It makes sense to tie a rope between them—what if one falls out of bed or they accidentally get separated?
The series truly shines when it focuses intently on the specifics of their predicament and the burgeoning affection between the characters. However, I'm often reminded of the lengthy segment in volume 2 where the main characters confront a troublesome ghost, and I can't help but feel it's a waste of time. This takes away from exploring the most intriguing relationship and dynamic.
