Story: 6/10 *contains SPOILERS*
The plot follows a familiar path: the main character (MC) flees from home and meets a stranger, subsequently living with him. The unique elements here include Hana being abused by her father, with instances of attempted rape, and the male protagonist working as a host. This introduces smutty and mature scenes throughout, along with some steamy moments involving Takaya's friends, who claim Hana gives off an irresistible "scent." My curiosity about this mysterious scent kept me reading, but then suddenly, the narrative shifts to Hana's friend's love story with the head host. Just like that, it ends! The two additional stories take center stage. I was left thinking, "WHAT THE F WAS THAT?! Is that all?!" It felt like a missed opportunity for the author to delve deeper into the characters' pasts, including Takaya's, and explore the significance of this "scent."
On the flip side, the two extras completely overshadow the main story! The first extra revolves around a prince visiting Japan and falling in love with Sakura, while the second features the prince's older brother also visiting Japan and falling for Sakura's friend. Yes, you read that right—two princes fall in love with common women! Both stories have distinct yet heartwarming conclusions.
Art: 6/10
The artwork is decent. The bishies still look incredibly attractive, and the female protagonists are drawn in a typical manner.
Characters:
Hana, from the main story, is an exceedingly weak and naive girl. She cries over every mistake she makes!!! Grrr!!! However, I persisted in reading because I was intrigued by the hosts' backstories and the recurring mention of the "scent."
Takaya is undoubtedly an alpha male, but I disapprove of how he had sex with her despite Hana's resistance. He was angry at her, so essentially, he sort of raped her.
Sakura from the first extra is a much more tolerable girl compared to Hana. I admired her bravery in pursuing her love at the end.
Alec, the first prince, is truly a dreamy guy. Though a little conceited, he is incredibly courageous in standing by his decisions.
Sumire, Sakura's friend from the second extra, is the ideal female protagonist! She's strong and adorable, which is why she won the heart of Alexa, Alec's older brother.
Alexa carries a lot of pressure, so I understand his cold demeanor, but he softens when it comes to Sumire. Once again, I commend his bold decision at the conclusion.
Enjoyment: 6/10
Despite my disappointment with the main story's ending, I still enjoyed it enough to give it a 6. If I could assign separate scores, I'd rate the first extra 8/10 and the second one 7/10.
Overall: 6/10
The main story isn't highly recommendable due to its unsatisfying ending and Hana's weak, naive nature. If you don't mind these aspects, feel free to proceed. Otherwise, I suggest skipping straight to the two extras at the end. They are far more worthwhile reads than the primary narrative, offering different yet sweet endings.
