Step 2: Enhance your Awakener's power. Support them, feed them, and let them handle all the XP grinding. The stronger they become, the safer you will be.

Step 3: Marry the Awakener. Officially secure this relationship. Once married, your safety is practically assured.

Step 4: Relax and let the Awakener manage the world’s chaos. You’re now free to enjoy a relatively drama-free life.

1. Steps 2 and 3 are interchangeable—or combine them. It worked for me.

2. Forget heroes; look for the anti-hero. Selfish ones, even villains, offer real safety.

3. Be prepared to deal with some minor trauma cleanup occasionally, but it’s manageable.
