Quod Erat Demonstrandum is a realm where the dead don’t rest—they work. In this otherworldly metropolis, reapers guide the recently deceased to the afterlife, navigating a bustling, high-end world that never sleeps.

Xiao Li is new to this world, trying to make sense of it all while under the guidance of three seasoned reapers: Callum, Seo-Jun, and Sasaki. As they introduce her to the intricacies of QED, she discovers that time doesn’t flow here like it does in the living world, and each reaper\'s appearance and role are meticulously controlled. From processing fake identities to managing souls, the realm operates like a well-oiled machine—yet there’s a strange sense of community among its inhabitants.

In QED, purpose isn’t lost after death; it’s redefined. But as Xiao Li adapts to her new life, she starts to see cracks beneath the polished surface. What happens when those who guide the dead can’t find peace themselves? And what secrets lie hidden in a company where time, life, and death are just parts of an endless cycle?

Hello, author here!I’ll keep this brief.World Setting: This story takes place in a modern fantasy world filled with magic, mysteries, and powerful entities.About the MC: The protagonist is a half-dragon, born to the Dragon Queen but forced to live away from her. Their relationship plays a pivotal role in the story. The MC is not overpowered—while he is strong for his age, he has clear limitations and plenty of room to grow.Novel Focus: This novel combines elements of wish fulfillment with a solid, character-driven story. While there are satisfying moments for the readers, the focus is on meaningful development, world-building, and emotional depth.A Note: This is my first time writing, so I’m open to feedback! Please let me know about any mistakes or areas for improvement—I’m eager to learn and grow.Thank you for reading 😊 Feel free to treat this as a Q&A, and I’ll answer any questions you have!"

I personally came to Webnovel because of this novel. I started reading it on Royal Road but wondered why there hadn't been any updates after chapter 28. I Googled it and found it here.As for me, I don't mind if the main character comes off as a simp at first or if he seems confused about being reborn or anything like that. I just want to read a story like this.To me, this story is good enough to keep me engaged. Sure, there are a few errors here and there, but that's typical for a new author. So for me, I don't mind giving this story a 5-star rating.

Jamal was happy no other voices were raised in agreement with her.  Marcus actually studied her jugular vein while touching the handle of his knife.  Marcy was the newest member of the group.  She lacked some of their perspective.  The last safe place the group had shared with others had fallen apart because of people like her.

It wasn't as painful as he expected, but it was challenging nonetheless.
