Story: 1

Jade never thought love could hurt this much.

She had always been the quiet, sweet girl—the one who smiled gently, helped others, and kept her feelings to herself. Unlike her best friend, who was bold and full of fire, Jade was soft-spoken, an introvert who preferred the background.

But then, he came into her life. The school\'s Prince Charming.

He made her believe in love. Made her believe in something magical—something pure. With every stolen glance, every whispered word, he painted a dream so beautiful that she dared to step into it.

But who knew?

Who knew he was only using her as a bridge to get closer to her best friend?

The day she found out, something inside her shattered. The pain was sharp, unbearable. She felt her heart break into pieces so small she wondered if she would ever feel whole again.

So she left. She ran.

Aboard, far away from the place that had betrayed her trust. She wanted to forget. Wanted to erase his name from her heart.

But fate had other plans.

When she returned, the first news she heard was of their wedding. His wedding. To her best friend.

And to make it worse—she was invited.

This seems to be a unique story, different from other repetitive stories.

The quality of writing for the first 15 chapters is terrible. Then it gets better. Around chapter 28 it becomes solid enough to let you enjoy the story without breaking your immersion. so far no kingdom building and not too sure how the author plans to "build" since he has everything from the first chapter, just locked behind an insufficient population counter. The MC ranges from a timid teenager to a cold hearted overlord in different settings. his character is whatever the author decides that day. The power scaling of levels present in the first 30 chapters is totally random. lvl 80 leader of village. lvl 200 centuries ago became a legend to this day. and 5 chapters later in the same place you have 5 npc lvl 200-350 scared to attack a city defended by 2 lvl 200...

This novel is good, the character design, the world building, everything. I really really love this novel. The author's writing is just great. No hard language, no unnecessary info dumping.

I'm at chapter 40 right now and the story has been great so far.  Grammer and writing is good and fluid, pace is a little fast but nothing rushed.  Mc is a little dumb but there's clearly character development happening.  overall very noice.

But that's not my intention, as four blue ripples hovered behind his head and four anti-materiel sniper rifle barrels protruding from it.

They climbed onto the dirty deck of Sintara, an average sized galleon with three towering masts in the middle and two in the front and back, fourth in line to leave the port. Still about half hour left before its departure. All around them scrawny men huddled with ropes and sails and cages that they were carrying downstairs. The other men, big and muscular ones with whips and swords, guarded the wooden deck, looking about with their harsh eyes so that the skinny ones in chains didn't skip their tasks.
