NPC Carrow lives a simple life in the small town of Highspring. She talks to the other villagers, tends her shop, and generally enjoys the quiet pace of things in her home... well, quiet when there aren\'t any Adventurers around, anyway. The strange breed of people always bring chaos with them when they come to visit, but at least Carrow managed to make a tidy little living by buying and selling their wares. She\'s perfectly fine with the way things are, day after day after day being the same; she\'s never even thought about wanting anything more.

Until, one morning, something is different.

The Adventurers who appear seem to be having some problems, to start with, saying something Carrow doesn\'t understand about a \"level reset\" and \"glitches\". But that\'s the least of Carrow\'s problems, because when a dragon attacks Highspring and Carrow picks up a sword, a whole new world opens up to her. Suddenly, she isn\'t Trader Carrow any more--she\'s Adventurer Carrow, and she\'s about to be swept up into things she never even dreamed possible.

Unbeknownst to her, the virtual reality game Age of Acadia has just launched, bringing with it massive updates, including the AI that grants Carrow and other NPCs like her sentience--and a host of unexpected glitches that throw the players for a loop. Carrow and the player Adventurers she teams up with have to rely on each other to survive in a world where the lines between \"player\" and \"NPC\" suddenly aren\'t as clear-cut.

And for Carrow, this isn\'t a game at all--this is her life.

One of the best starts of a novel in a long timeI am quite impressed seeing this quality of work from an amature writer. One rarely sees this level of writing skill and attention to detail in most novels. Its very difficult to make characters believable and alive and by the end of 39 there are 3 character I felt a human connect with the mc, his sister and mother. This is quite an accomplishment as many books are not even able to create a believable mc with 50+ characters. I genuinely felt empathy for these characters. I am not trying to glaze the author but I truly respect authors who are able to do this. I really hope this continues.I also appreciate how intresting the power mc has. Its not a typical system which gives everything to the mc for free. There is actually a cost to strength. And a believable way for mc to develope a more reserved personality. Finally I believe everyone should give this book a try and support the author. We can’t allow this hidden gem to go unnoticed any longer.

Its ight, I can guess the development of the story line as the leader of hoplites civilization suddenly disappeared must have a connection to this world he dropped in too, I also wonder how he'll fight when his ammos dwindle out. Either he finds more escape pods of his creemates ඞඞඞඞ or that of the aliens. And he'll then use their ammo and weapons, or that he'll find a facility that is connected to the leader of his civilization. Anyways just a retard trying to act smart

By now, Kiki was exhausted. You could see her sweat dripping down until her chin and you could hear her breathe in and out rapidly. Her paws were hurting and her ears were aching, but she had to continue the boat. They WERE going to get a reward after all. Hard work always pays off.
