Captain Joe Bower, Berryville’s seasoned captain, starts receiving anonymous letters that hint at unsolved crimes from the past. The letters, meticulously detailed and eerily accurate, lead Joe on a twisted journey through a series of cold cases that have haunted their city and surrounding cities for years. The messages not only unveils a new piece of the puzzle but also exposes the dark underbelly of the city he thought he knew.

Obligatory Author Review. Do you like system novels, with lots of adventuring? You will like this one. At least that's what I would like to think anyhow.0 0 Reply

I really hope this book gets chosen it's really good. Please do not judge it as just another common video game novel. Minor spolier* the character can actually gain abilities in real life and as mentioned in the summary he also gets items. Anyways the real world the guy is living is far more complicated then it seems(supernatural). That's all I'm gonna say on it please read it for yourself👍0 0 Reply

Started out great then the story just crashed and burned. MC is introduced as a smart character but his IQ keeps dropping as the story goes on. Author introduces new characters that just walk all over him .The comedy is forced and annoying mainly about him having low EQ and getting walked all over his friends.0 0 Reply

The hook is the MC is an alchemy emperor. So when he gets that cheat, I'm fine with it.BUT THE FIRST THING THAT HAPPENS WITH HIS CHEAT?"Hey look the strongest martial artist manual ever, I'm going to be like that guy now!" So if anybody was expect somebody uses alchemy to ok overcome issues basic wuxia MCs would use brute strength with, this is not for you. And if you looking for an interesting book with a new take or interesting presentation this is not for you.0 0 Reply

This is a great novel with an suberb world building, The cliche is barely minimum and the story is awesome , the author focus on every character present , very less mistakes which will annoy you but one thing that i would like to change about this novel is making only one main character and making him a lil highlighted that would make this a polished gem really a very good xanxia loving this the updating stability need to be increased a lil ( I would recommend you to try this novel if you are a fan of xanxia thanks0 0 Reply

After chapter 20 the chapters are not in order. You have to jump around and that only works through chapter 32. After that I gave up trying to figure out what order they were in. I really enjoy everything about this novel but it’s not worth the effort trying to figure out what comes next.0 0 Reply
