In the shadowy depths of an ancient forest in Heian Japan, a nameless European knight finds himself inexplicably transported from his homeland to a realm unknown, hundreds of kilometers away from the familiar landscapes of Europe. Lost and bewildered, he stands amidst the towering trees of a foreign land, his armor gleaming like a beacon in this distant time period.
As the knight grapples with the enigma of his sudden displacement, he soon discovers that this world is teeming with malevolent forces, demons, and spirits drawn from the rich tapestry of Japanese folklore. They torment him, as if toying with the interloper who has unwittingly stumbled into their domain. Each encounter with these supernatural entities becomes a harrowing battle, his sword clashing against the eerie, otherworldly forms that emerge from the shadows.
Yet amidst the chaos and danger, a ray of hope emerges in the form of a mysterious shrine maiden. She becomes his guide in this realm, her gentle presence a lifeline in a sea of unfamiliar customs and an impenetrable language barrier. Together, they embark on a quest, not only to confront the demons that have ensnared him but also to decipher the ancient mysteries of Heian Japan.
Their journey takes them through a world of vividly painted landscapes, from the bustling streets of Heian-era Kyoto to the serene tranquility of remote mountain shrines. Along the way, the knight gains a deep appreciation for the life of the common folk in this ancient East Asian society, as he witnesses the delicate interplay between Shinto and Buddhist practices and becomes entwined in the cultural tapestry of the time.
As the battles against the malevolent spirits intensify, the knight's quest for a way back to his European homeland becomes deeply personal. The demons have not only transported him across time and space but have also tampered with his very existence. Determined to reclaim his lost identity and return home, he must muster every ounce of courage and determination, forging an unbreakable bond with the shrine maiden.

Past 50-60 chapters (~ch 70 to ~130) showed an issue: The author doesn't know how to make story arcs actually develop.Things happen, but nothing seems to have progressed. MC is in the same spot, except some inconsequential events happened (i.e. you could skip them, and the story would still be fine).Oh yeah, this author seems to have taken away the MC's ability to think for himself. Asking the guy in his ring about knowledge he doesn't know is one thing, having the MC ask the guy about decisions he should be making himself is another.0 0 Reply

Disappointing. From the title I assumed that the MC would come to his own conclusions on cultivation and auxiliary jobs like arrays and alchemy , but it's just a system that spoon feeds him information and him carrying it out.Even if it was him using an AI Chip like the one from Warlock in a Magus World, at least he would have to feed it data in order to get information, but this... he's just getting information stuffed into his brain with no effort.0 0 Reply

first of all, don't make this cringe, and second of all give it some slice of life moment to enjoy the world and make the mc have some level of common sense, don't make him like [ you dare to hit me now I kill you literary] don't make him have a harem, and most importantly don't make him unsatisfied with what he gains, make him smart where he uses the most efficient way to increase his power, don't give the skip training instant power moment, in this kind of novel progress of every moment make us happy and make him smart enough to finding new way to make him strong and earn some money.if you are saying that it became suspicious then I will tell you some thing instantly attaining power is more suspicious and if he work other area and work on his power he will gain power and money and most importantly knowledge and experience.0 0 Reply

I love my Isekai; However, this was totally different from the norm, the author portrays the story in such a way that you're drawn in and before you know it you're already reading the next chapter! The writing quality was excellent! The sentence structure was top notch and the wording is easy to understand. They're also talented with imagery which made the chapters captivating and fun to read. Despite me not knowing much about Ren or Adelaide yet I love them so freaking much! Giving the reader little to no information about a character is a great way to draw them in as they're willing to fill in the blanks. Conclusion: A talented writer with a twist on the Isekai genre. I can't wait to read more and I'll definitely be looking out for the next chapter.0 0 Reply
