Alec has one goal: escape the suffocating walls of the orphanage that has been his prison for most of his life. With his fifteenth birthday looming, he counts the days until he can finally break free. But Alec's escape plan takes an unexpected twist when he begins to experience vivid, otherworldly visions—visions of three mysterious men, each more powerful and enigmatic than the last.
One man is perched on a cloud, his wild white beard and lightning-charged eyes crackling with energy, promising a force unlike any Alec has ever known. Another is calm, his tranquil demeanor belying the tempest that simmers beneath the surface, his presence both soothing and deadly. The third man is unpredictable—a fire-dancing figure whose laughter hides a darkness Alec cannot quite understand. Each man wants the same thing: Alec, as their vessel.
But why him? And what does being their vessel truly mean? As Alec struggles to understand the visions that haunt him, he is faced with a choice: embrace the power these men offer, or continue fighting for freedom from the only life he's ever known.
With his birthday fast approaching and the pressure mounting, Alec must decide whether to accept a fate far stranger—and more dangerous—than anything he could have imagined. A life of power, or one of freedom? The choice could change everything.

Sorry if my reviews are too long but, this a modern day cultivation story, which is pretty uncommon. Now, it's very slow paced but some of you may like it that way since it's slightly reasonable, knowing that there are questions that haven't been solved yet throughout the story. I had few problems reading this at all and it's pretty good, as Qidian chose well. Here's why:Translation Quality: The quality of Qidian's translations are truly one of the best, the editors and translators included. This is always expected from me, and probably most of the readers on Qidian. I literally found no errors in grammar/punctuation and it was all easily read and understood. Updating Stability: The update stability (like always) was always followed by and true from what I've seen. The translators and editors have a schedule and they obey it (5 chapters a week). The translation speed though, could be a little faster, maybe 7 days/week. I say that since the novel is already completed and still has about 2000 chapters to go. Other than that no problems with this.Story Development: The story and plot develops at a VERY slow pace. But if you ignore that, you find almost no problems. If you do read past the beginning, (unlike some other people) you find that it slowly get's better. There is a clear objective and the plot is reasonable and there isn't any plot holes. As the information is also given to you at reasonable times, as it is, the plot is pretty good.Character Design: The main character and some very important characters have personalities and each have goals and backstories. But the side characters aren't really realistic, and girls may fall in love too easily (to the extent of 10 days together = love forever). He easily discards girls even if that happens (for the sake of cultivation) and makes it look like they're side characters, although they aren't, and indeed do help with the development of story and the main character. Which is why this is okay.World Background: The world develops slowly and information is given to you slowly (like I said before). No info dumps and the world development isn't only at the beginning, (like some stories) and it develops throughout the story instead of all the info at the beginning. This makes it comprehensive and allows you to take it all in, and know what's happening.Taking all of that into account, I rate and recommend this story at 4.4 stars! I liked this story and hopefully you do too, just get through the beginning and it'll get better (in my opinion)! Go ahead and read now.0 0 Reply

I really can't express how good this novel is. I've been following this since translated chapter 10, and it's been great the whole way. I can't find anything wrong with the story and it's literally one of the best stories out there. I'll try to make it short this time, since it's just so good it doesn't really need any criticism. Here's why:Translation Quality: Qidian, always has some of the best translations (as expected). They choose all their translators well, and the translator for I'm Really A Superstar, makes good translations. The poems and songs and etc. were all translated well and have great quality. I wouldn't believe it if you said you found a mistake in grammar. If you did, I'm 100% sure it was very minor.Updating Stability: The updating stability is great, the chapters are given to you at a reasonable pace and quality, and most of the time, more chapters are given then said. The stability has basically never been thrown off course, and the schedule has always been followed.Story Development: The plot, is unique. The idea might be something common, but the way the author takes it and manages it makes it unique. The story never has a dull moment (other than fillers), and makes you curse for all the cliffhangers.Character Design: All the characters that appear often and are named have distinct personalities, and even a few hundred chapters later they still appear in some way. They aren't boring and they all develop, (even the antagonists).World Background: Most of the information is taken from real life, but that makes the world unique and more realistic, as most stories don't do that. The world changes and develops and makes sense, and you can easily perceive the developments and changes that are happening. That is all, this review is probably one of my short ones, because the reviews get shorter the better the novel is. I recommend and rate this story as a 5.0, full stars. I hope you enjoy reading this!0 0 Reply

Review as of chapter 75. The “sisters” are only sisters in the Chinese sense. As in, it’s a polite way to refer to someone of the same generation as you, much like they call older people aunt and uncle despite the lack of a relation between them. To risk a small spoiler, they aren’t even from the same clan, let alone blood relatives. The main character is *irredeemably* stupid. Like, I’m amazed he can even continue breathing unaided because he is obviously braindead. He continues charging headfirst into conflict after conflict without even making anything even approaching a plan. He’s a cultivator, but so far he’s only cultivated once, and even that attempt would have failed if not for Great Wall-thickness plot armor. Seriously, his plot armor could easily repel an entire invading army of intellectually superior foes. The worldbuilding and story development are bog standard for the urban face-slapping genre. It’s a constant parade of arrogant young master after arrogant young master, and so forth. If you’ve read one urban novel, you’ve read them all. This is neither a plus nor a minus, but is instead both at once. If you like this kind of novel, you’ll like this novel. If you don’t, you probably won’t. One thing I will say, though, is that the character designs *really* drag this novel down in the story department. Especially in the story development aspect, since it’s so far just been the braindead MC hopping from one fire to another fire all to rescue a series of repeat damsels in distress from increasingly unbelievable situations that I’m fairly sure only exist for the author to fulfill his own wishes in story form. I haven’t caught up to anywhere near current releases, so I don’t know if the updates are stable or not. Translation quality, though, has so far been very, very high. With webnovel switching so many novels from 100% human translation to edited MTL lately, though, I have no idea if that’ll continue to be the case later on down the line.0 0 Reply

The story itself is good but the character is too weak. He can't make even the simplest choices that a normal person can. A good example, his girlfriend's first debut on the competition instead of attending her first performance, he attends an engagement party that could as well be postponed.0 0 Reply
