Normally I tend to avoid reading novels that relies heavily on face slapping as a regular theme since it bores me to death, but intelligent and humorous face slapping like this novel, IRAS or AVL are very welcomed.There are several good reasons why you should read this novel:1. The MC finds real love very quick, but his pursuit to win said love, how the love develop and how the couple interact are very realistic, which is a pleasure to read and the love interest is extremely lovely, intelligent, funny and likeable.2. The four furry kids. For me Li Du's four furry children are the best part and I always get the greatest laughs when a chapter includes them or is about them. They are intelligent, very much humane and basically children in furry disguise, but with animal instincts to boot.3. What little drama there is are never drawn out to point of getting boring, but is swiftly handled with humorous and intelligent face slapping. It's a joy to read how Li Du executes his devious plans of retribution, every time.4. The novel is just different, never in a million years would I've imagined a novel about storage auction.Serious props to the author and translator!!!

Translation is too poor for something that costs money. The story has so many twists and turns that go nowhere it feels like a more messed up version of a tangled up pair of headphones that you untangle to find out they’re broken.
