The Fake king

In all the books and stories I’ve read, family was always the pillar of strength that pushed you forward when everything else abandoned you. I always loved that phrase that kept repeating: *"Even if the whole world is against you, your family will stand by your side."*

But my story… was the complete opposite of those tales.

I was born as the second child—the unwanted one. The entire world was on my side, but my family… was against me.

All the love and attention were poured onto my older brother. He was the perfect son, the star that never faded from my parents’ sky. And me? I was the shadow, barely noticeable. What I received from them was nothing but neglect—or worse… beatings and abuse.

I still remember the day my life changed forever. It was just another fight between us, but this time, it ended with them getting rid of me—throwing me out into the streets at the age of ten.

But my misfortune didn’t stop there. As I wandered aimlessly through the streets, a thief attacked me, stabbing me with a cold blade. I felt life slowly slipping away from my body, and as I closed my eyes, I thought that my end had finally come.

Yet when I opened my eyes again, I wasn’t in the streets of my city. I found myself in a world eerily familiar, as if I had somehow slipped into one of the novels I had read before.

It felt like a strange dream—until I realized the bitter truth: I had reincarnated into the body of the forsaken prince.

A prince who had suffered the same fate I had known in my first life. But this time, his end was even more tragic.

He had been deceived, hated by everyone, and in the end… he was brutally and disgracefully executed.

Damn this wretched world. And damn the bastard who brought me here.

I never asked for a second chance. Spare me your nonsense and just let me die in peace…
