But death wasn't the end for Mako. He awakens in a mysterious void, granted a second chance by an ancient, shadowy force. Armed with an assassin system—a deadly power that grows stronger with each life he takes-Mako is reborn with a single goal: to dismantle the rot at the heart of society and avenge his sister.

Now, with the system as his guide, Mako must master his new abilities, infiltrate the ranks of the corrupt elite, and bring down their empires one by one. But the more he kills, the more the system demands. As Mako walks the line between justice and justice and vengeance, he must confront a dangerous question: is he becoming the very monster he seeks to destroy?
