Astor was the first son of the HighFangs' Alpha, a young man destined to lead the pack if fate hadn't decided to mock him. On the day of his birth, he supposedly brought a curse with him, or so everyone told him, and that's why everyone despised him. Growing up, he never knew happiness. The abuse and loneliness made him detest his pack, his own people, but a promise to his mother kept him bound there, unable to find freedom. "My poor Astor, please help your brother become a good leader. My dear child, forgive me," she had pleaded before leaving him. He always did as he was told, stayed silent, and obeyed, trying not to lose the last bit of family he had, the small purpose in his life. But even his own family eventually betrayed him. The brother he had worked so hard to support cast him aside, leaving him in an unfamiliar place with a man who terrified him, looming over him like a deadly beast. "I must truly be cursed," he cried, wishing for his life to end. "You? Cursed? How can someone as beautiful as you be cursed?" the man told him, and from that moment on, his entire life changed.

What can I give a heads up about the story? Hmm.. all were pretty brief and to the point, which is smexy.. Hot, shota smexy.

I can't say they were much, and if you are looking for the long foreplay type deal, then this is not for you. As I said, it was pretty brief and to the point, with just a few nips and licks for foreplay but not much. All seemed more concentrated on claiming their little shota.

One tells the story of a fashion designer working for a teen model. One day he sees something he shouldn't and is dragged into the bathroom by said model. And of course, you can figure out what happens next. This tale was probably my second favorite out of the six stories. It had more of that fear, bondage, and comforting romance about it. And I am not one for romance, so no one insult my taste.

The second was about a musician loving a boy who works in the shop where his band plays. A misunderstanding and some resolution later, both main characters are at an apartment.. and you can figure out what happens there. I noticed this one was a lot quicker than the other stories. I blinked and it was already finished. Also, we had a recurring character it would seem.

The third I read was about a soccer player who falls for a dude who works in the flower shop. He helps with the game, and after the celebration, you can figure out what happens next. Though unlike the previous two, he doesn't go all the way; it would seem he takes care of his little lover first before going headlong into the romance. This was probably my fourth favorite in the series.

The next was about schoolboys. This one boy can't seem to find a girl and mistakes a new student for a girl. After a few misunderstandings and an injury later, you can guess what happens. This was my third favorite in the series. It was a little longer and didn't move by too fast like the others did. It took some time to give a more reasonable explanation for their romance. And I must say it worked. 'chuckles' Oddly enough, the uke reminded me of Ciel from Kuroshitsuji because of his attitude.

My least favorite in the set was this one. A rich man finds a boy being ganged up on and saves him. They live together for some time, and the younger convinces the other to have smex with him anytime he wants it. Where as all the others seemed brief or interesting, this one seemed a bit more dull and slow. I didn't like this one all that much, and that is all I have to say.

The last was my top favorite. A mysterious man has taken in young Leny, who is a rare species of fruit bat. But what Leny soon finds out is that his beloved caretaker is a famous animal trainer, which he stumbles upon his secret stash one night. Of course, he runs, and when the animal trainer catches him.. 'smirks' You can guess that Leny needs to be trained. The one thing that screamed through my mind at reading this for the first time was "This seems what Sebastian would do to Ciel." and I must say if you love the pair, you can get ideas for them by reading this. It was a right pace, and it was a bit more hardcore than the others, combined with some slight romance.. not much but slight. Oh yes, my top in this collection indeed.

Compared to Yana's Kuroshitsuji, the art was good but Kuroshitsuji's is better. There were some flaws with the characters' art and some background bits.. and the smex had a couple as well. Minor but noticeable if you are looking for them. It was still very good though.

Though it was short, I thought the characters were pretty good. Though all looked somewhat similar to one another. You even had some that recurred in two stories. We even had some that reminded you of either Ciel or Sebastian on occasion. Yes, they were very good, though they could have used some more development.

My enjoyment of this is pretty high and yet had some lows to it. It would have reached a ten if I had enjoyed two of the six series more, but I could not, so it deserves a good nine in my opinion.

Overall, if you are a shota fan and love to read more of Yana's work, I strongly suggest this six-chapter set. A couple of good stories, and some details into Yana's past workings before Kuroshitsuji. Also, you can see how much she has improved after this. It also was a fantastic read and would settle any certain "need-to-read-some-hot-smex."

My overall rating for this is an eight. I would give it an eight point five, but as you can see, MyAnimeList is not like Anime-Planet, so you can't use points, just single numbers.

First, let me say that I absolutely adore all the short stories in this manga. My personal favorite is "Music Hour," mainly because I can relate to it on a deeper level.

I wasn't bothered at all that the ukes were shota characters, and I truly loved the concept behind each individual chapter.

The author has an incredible talent for captivating readers in such obvious yet utterly addictive ways.

If you enjoyed *Kuroshitsuji* and *Rust Blaster*—and let's be honest, everyone did—you should definitely give this manga a try. After all, it's by the same author, and it's especially recommended for yaoi and shounen-ai fans. Yes, I do know the difference.

Each chapter stands as a self-contained short story, unrelated to the others.
The first two stories are relatively decent. They focus more on character development than explicit content and come across as fairly acceptable tales. The rest, however... let's just say their primary flaw is being utterly dull.
These stories are extremely generic, and you can almost sense the clichéd, rose-tinted attempts at sensuality wafting off the pages. Unfortunately, it's deeply disappointing that this collection has so little to offer. It's not even average or mediocre—it simply exists.
The artwork is lackluster. Once again, the strongest character designs appear in the first two stories, but much of the visual presentation is forgettable. Chances are, you'll have already forgotten about this anthology by the time you open your fridge for a drink.
