Born as a prodigy among legends, Kaleb Bjorn was destined to become the greatest champion of the Bjorn Clan, a beacon of power, and a ruler of tides. His spiritual sea—vast, pure, and unmatched—promised a future of glory and unshakable dominance. But destiny is a fragile thing, and envy is a storm that spares no soul.
On the day of his greatest triumph, betrayal struck like a bolt of lightning. Malcum Draymar, heir of the rival Draymar Clan, conspired with the treacherous Vorrick Alsevar to shatter Kaleb’s spiritual sea in a single moment of devastation. Reduced to nothing, cast out by his clan, and branded as a disgrace, Kaleb fell from the heavens into the abyss.
Yet the storm is never silent. Broken but unyielding, Kaleb discovers a forbidden path—the Tide of Ninefold Resurgence—a cultivation technique that defies the natural order. It promises unparalleled power, but at a deadly cost. Each fragment of his spiritual sea reclaimed brings him closer to forging a new destiny—a destiny drenched in vengeance and forged in the fires of an unstoppable tempest.
With allies forged in the crucible of rebellion—a rogue alchemist with a grudge, a wandering warrior from a fallen clan, and outcasts drawn to his rising storm—Kaleb begins a meteoric ascent. The ancient clans that once mocked him will tremble as he harnesses the storms of heaven and the tides of the broken sea. He will challenge gods and tyrants alike, and his wrath will echo through the realms.
As the Voidscale Brotherhood, a shadowy cabal that preys on the spiritual seas of others, rises to power, Kaleb prepares to meet their might with a tempest of his own. The world will know his name, not as a fallen prodigy, but as the Stormforged King—the unrelenting force that reshapes the heavens and the earth.
The waves will roar. The skies will split. And from the shattered fragments of his past, Kaleb Bjorn will rise as a legend eternal.
Prepare for a tale of unparalleled redemption, vengeance, and ascension. Rise of the Stormforged King is an epic storm that will leave the heavens trembling and the earth awestruck.

"What I want, the Heavens shall not lack! ”“What I don’t want, had better not exist in the Heavens!”This is a story which originates between the Eighth and Ninth Mountains, the world in which the strong prey upon the weak.“My Name is Meng Hao! The Ninth Generation Demon Sealer, I shall seal the Heavens!“ I Shall Seal the Heavens, otherwise known as Wo Yu Feng Tian, is a Xianxia novel written by Er Gen.The story revolves around Meng Hao, who starts off as a failing scholar and ends up as an omnipotent. In my opinion, this guy is the best main character I’ve seen so far. This comes from his character development and unique personality, which is antithesis to those of typical novels.Absolutely shameless down to his marrows, a bashful killer, and a ruthless con artist, Meng Hao truly exhibits the behaviors people’d expect out of villains. He rips off money from people by hurting them, treating their wounds that he caused, and asking for treatment money. What’s more surprising is that this is all done in the daylight, when people are watching. However, shamelessness (which I thought would last until the end) eventually came to an end after Meng Hao going to tens of thousands of years of life – But, honestly, it’d be weird if he still ripped people off of their money as one of the oldest people in the universe. The process of his change in personality was quite long, but it was quite evident throughout the entire novel. There were many factors that contributed to this change, but I won’t name any of them except one : becoming strong. When Meng Hao was young, he was abandoned and he was a failing scholar, so of course he had to be ruthless and shameless to survive off of the little money he had; but, as he took another route in life and turned to cultivating and gaining power, his mindset slowly began to change. He no longer view people as organisms which he can rip money off from and began to look at them as an old, wise sage would. That’s enough about the MC, now about the plot :The plot in the beginning is very, very vague in the beginning, it’s almost as if this is just about the journey of Meng Hao. But, as various events take places, you’ll begin to notice something strange about what was going on with him little by little, until you reach a certain point when you are suddenly hit with a huge plot twist. (This twist, let me tell you, isn’t one of the cliche ones you’ll see from the typical American novels. Trust me)This story isn’t the typical “weak to strong” type of story, but rather “main character literally defying the heavens.” If you want to start reading light-novels, I’d recommend you start off with this one. Trust me, you won’t regret it!0 0 Reply

tl;dr at bottomGreat Story! While the plot idea of MC getting an OP system/cheat/ect. has been overused on webnovel, this story is definitely a good read & is unique enough to hold its own.*Note: This review has a handful of spoilers. They're not major, but still could be considered spoilers. All spoilers are marked with "*SPOILERS*" and continue until the end of the paragraph. If you want to skip the spoilers, simply move on to the next paragraph. This story follows a fairly accurate & consistent plot. It all happens according to how you would expect things to go (in a good way, read on for further explanation). If, given the setting & story idea, all of this happened (MC getting OP talent), naturally you would expect them to stand out and be able to do things others can't. Since they are taking advantage of things & opportunities that others can't, it makes natural sense that they would rise quicker than others. However, interestingly enough, the MC isn't at the top of the entire world.*SPOILERS* In Chap.40 you learn that he's only 3rd to get to level 10.Being a novel with the plot of MC gets transmigrated/reincarnated/back-in-time, the MC has knowledge & skills developed that others would develop over the course of playing for many years. And naturally, he uses this to his advantage to get further. However, because of this, things don't necessarily go the same way he's expecting. It gets a little tiring when every single piece of loot dropped is something that he needs or is otherwise important. But then, I have to ask myself, if I were in his situation, writing in my journal/telling this story/or something, of course I would really only tell about the important things. That being said, given the way the levels are consistently described, and taking into account that much of his loot comes from unique rewards, I still feel like the unique attributes/skills/bonuses that much of the equippmet gives is a little out of proportion (*SPOILERS* for only being level 5/10/ect.)tl;dr > For being a copy/paste plot idea, this story is well thought out & reasonably planned. Certain aspects could use to be adjusted. But, all in all, I recommend this novel over many others that follow a similar plot idea.0 0 Reply

"The King of Knights makes his appearance, fabulous!" Caster shouted excitedly. "I am oh so curious, what kind of play would you fit in. The young lady from before displayed such a tragedy, will you befall a similar fate...what?"0 0 Reply
