WARNING WARNING!! THIS BOOK CONTAINS MATURE CONTENT. {WSA ENTRY..} Orpheus was once a young vampire, born into a family of vampires who turned him into a werewolf through the use of black magic. This transformation created a battle within him as vampires and werewolves because of a deep-seated enmity towards each other. Orpheus struggled with this duality for thousands of years and eventually learned to live with his newfound self. However, this transformation left him ruthless and cold, instilling fear in people who worked for him. Despite his fearsome reputation, there was one exception - Camilla Grande. Camilla was a young woman in her twenties who lost her parents in a devastating car accident when she was just eighteen. She had to give up her dreams of pursuing a degree and a career in dancing to start working. However, her lack of a degree made it difficult for her to find a job in a regular office. One day, while wandering the streets, she overheard someone talking about a luxurious mansion on the other side of town that needed a housekeeper. The previous staff who worked there either got fired or left on their own accord, and no one could tell a complete story about the mysteries of that house. Camilla was about to dismiss the thought, but when she heard the amount they were offering to pay, she decided to apply. Little did she know that her decision to work at that mansion would change her life forever.

Story: The narrative stands out as something truly unique, with very few stories managing to be this genuinely unsettling. It's an incredible tale filled with psychological twists. Despite cramming so much into just two books, the author skillfully manages it all. They carefully develop the friendships between characters, drawing readers in emotionally, only to dismantle them slowly yet surprisingly swiftly. Events unfold one after another without feeling rushed or haphazard. Suspense is maintained throughout once the action begins. This series will undoubtedly play with your mind and tug at your emotions.

Art: The author effectively uses art to convey the transformation of characters, succeeding admirably by preserving their original appearance while subtly altering it to make them appear almost unrecognizable. Not only does the artwork depict a compelling blend of 'split personalities,' but it also amplifies the overall creepiness. Additionally, while there aren't many death scenes, those that exist are deeply unsettling to contemplate. My sole issue with the art is that in the first volume, there were a couple of scenes where I struggled to fully grasp the positioning of characters or what was happening.

Character: The characters are fascinating. You witness them transition from being entirely rational to descending into madness. As you delve deeper into their perspectives and attempt to comprehend them, you can fully grasp their motives, thoughts, and the rationale behind their actions. Even the antagonists have understandable reasons if you pay close attention. In short, they are well-developed.

Enjoyment: It was thoroughly enjoyable, keeping me on edge throughout and eager to discover what would happen next. I'm anxiously anticipating the next arcs and the new journeys awaiting the characters.

Overall: A bizarre and haunting tale that will linger in my thoughts for some time. This isn't a story suited for the faint-hearted or overly paranoid. After finishing the series, I couldn't help but sit quietly, gazing out the window, contemplating how the characters felt and questioning the truths I believe or desire to uncover. <p>
