Office Wars: Love Under Fire

In my opinion, this novel isn’t #1 rank material, but the author is a genius for bribing ppl with extra chapters for power stones. Writing quality is not the worse but still pretty bad, lots of misspelling and wrong words used. Once example, ‘integration’ is frequently used instead of ‘interrogation’. Although this happens quite a lot, the real problem is the way the story is written. The writing style is too shallow, it doesn’t give you the sense that you are immersed in the story world. There are not enough details to describe the character and environment. Up to now I still can’t picture what the characters and the school look like. One reviewer compared this with Lord of the Mysteries, which is just absurd. The writing style of LoM makes you feel like you are inside the MC’s head, immersed in his thoughts, emotions, and actions. This novel feels like you’re reading a summary of the MC’s daily activities, it is detached and doesn’t bring you up close and personal.Story development is progressing nicely so far. Contains your typical tropes and plot armor, but it’s not as absurdly done as other webnovels. Not much else to say since the novel is just beginning.Character design: It’s too early to tell but so far just 2 characters have hints of hidden depth, which could lead somewhere interesting. For now, the characters seem very shallow. The characters need to be fleshed out more, especially regarding their physical descriptions. Vague descriptions like ‘short brown hair and tall figure’ and ‘long blonde hair and perfect proportions’ doesn’t cut it.World background has great potential. Not much is revealed yet, but there are portals to other worlds and different species and factions, which leaves much to be discovered. Overall, I like the novel. There are only 108 chapters released so far, so there is room for improvement. I look forward to seeing how this novel progresses, it definitely has great potential.

A good novel, really didn't expect it but I was surprised by the character. More chapter's, my mind is begging for more since it can't be content with normal means.

I love this novel. . Although this is my first time reading this type of novel but I read it alll straight from chapter 1 till 40 and become new fan for this novel . . The mc characters and abilities is so amazing and well-created. . The storyline is also good and out of box. I would recommend for everyone to read this novel . . Read Read Read! Trial Read Review (only from synopsis):(IOHOSBICPAHTTP) - So this guy is in a world where this virtual game can merge with reality. He levels up one skill (the fireball, supposably) and it becomes super OP that it can literally blast a hole through the earth. Honestly, can’t see much potential in this one. It’s like any other virtual reality power and does not seem to have much diversity in its plot. This will have to go in my maybe read list.(1MTDBIABT) - Guy gets doomsday system one month before doomsday. This sounds like an interesting plot with some potential (I hope). All I wish for is it to not be like on of those trashy apocalyptic novels.I will put this on my read list for now.(MCCIE) - Guy dies then his conscience goes into an eyeball. It can evolve and whatnot and he gets OP. If I’m being honest about this novel, I’m not feeling good vibes. It sounds like one of those grindy novels with no actual plot. Oh well, I will check it out.(ICVCA) - Guy transmigrates but can see the stats of other humans. Whoopee do. What a fun plot (that definitely has not been used many times before). I honestly am sick of these types of novels. But who knows? Maybe this one will be good (not placing my bets on it).(OG:IAAPP) - This plot is basically like the first one excet that he gets the privileged player system which allows him to get more EXP and more things in general. I honestly can not get why so many writers follow this plot. It has been overused too many times. I will maybe read this one (if I get super bored).(EHFS) - Protag gets four skills. But so does everyone else. This is the synopsis. That’s all.(CC:ITWMS) - If you have read my reviews before, you will know I like sect/clan/company or whatever building novels. This is one of those except that he has his smartphone which can do many things. Google maps makes him see the terrain, banking system lets him exchange currency, ect. This is one I will definitely read.

4 stars for translation quality. 1 star for everything else. It’s a half assed power fantasy by an author who most likely has never played a MMORPG. One major example is a forest full of crows for like parties of lvl 20-30 players. Which fights in swarms of a dozen or more. Author made MC op and says due to him being a god, if he attacks a crow, the other crows won’t react at all. So MC’s 1v1ing a crow, and somehow struggling (even when MC’s stats are multiple times that of similar lvl players), then wins in the end. Author starts bragging about the stats of a single crow. This is a forest, full of crows, who swarm you and attack in groups of 12 or more. Any other player would be one shot.It might as well be a single player game instead of a VRMMORPG given how all mobs are suddenly magically 10x stronger than players of the same lvl just so they can put up a fight against our very op heavily plot armored MC.

Still relatively new I would give it a couple more chapters before making a true review....................... . . . . . . . . . . . . . dam this needs 140 characters to work lol will take a while.
