A small yet significant society brought forth the story of Emberline. A con who has managed to secure herself as a nurse despite having nothing to qualify. And of Nicholas Vials, a well-groomed and slightly cheery boy who has vowed to uncover the mystery of his brother's gruesome murder. A search that leads a revolution in the streets of Curida. Soon, during his on going search, he grows up in deep love for Emberline.
But love is easy to declare, and heavy to portray. And this love for each other is tested in every way because there are many to oppose this affair. As Nicholas embarks on the journey to find his brother's killer, Emberline finds herself lost and she comes across Baldwin, who is willing to do anything to protect himself and those he loves.
A distance, no matter how many fortnights away, can never keep their attachment at bay, so only with resentment, are they kept away. And by conflict only, do we see their lives entangled again.
A story that exists due to the fear of detachment, abandonment, and heartbreak. All of which are rooted in both fanciers. And all those who are brought together by this romance.
...
Emberline lay still, her eyes widened in fear as he held her hand, gently caressing her palm.
"I love your hands, whenever I touch them, I am reminded of my lifetime of victories" he paused, looking back to Emberline. "I adore your smile, it makes me believe I can make you happy," Emberline was visibly distressed, her eyes threatening to flood, "And I am mesmerized by your eyes," she stifled a cry as he passed her a gentle smile. It wasn't filled with his usual warmth, which was stiff and lazy. His smile was rather ominous, unsettling and lacked the charm she lived by.
"But that is all I love about you," he said, his daunting declaration left a dent in her memory that she knew she couldn't forget, a cold ran down her spine as she gazed back at the man who once said he couldn't live a day without her.

caught up to the raws.. the novel is pretty nice.. unlike fantasy simulator and astral apostle which take lots of chapters in other realm this novel doesn't take that many chapters in each realm.. though most of the chapters are in other realms it doesn't take an unreasonable amount of chapters for each realm where story is mainly in other realm n there's barely anything happening in the real world(currently MC spent a significant amount of chapters in main world)another difference from the 2 novels is that there's no returning unless the entire simulation(traversal) is completed and once the simulation is completed there's nothing like returning to the same realm again(as of now) and millions of years have passed in those realms within a day in main world it seemstraversal isn't the power held only by the MC rather it's like cultivation in a cultivation worldit kinda seems to be a time stop during the traversal as millions of years pass by in the other realm per each day in main world but it's not yet that clear as MC's simulations have been pretty short lived like less than 30 years in other realm(as he had variety of reasons to leave early).. so even if he simulates for like 1000 years it would take a little more than 10 minutes in the real world(taking 1:3 million time ratio)0 0 Reply

I think the story had potential but to be fair I didn't read much of it since it is only frustrating me, while he has an easy way to get stronger it is like the whole world is against him getting stronger by showering him in 'kindness' even his sister is finding a rich older man to marry so that eur mc is able to get stronger Through a lot of medicine, while i don't like the thought it it would be in another novel it is still somewhat acceptable but in this novel it is really in a complete different level since he is only able to get weaker by eating them. btw I don't know if the sister married that guy afterwards since i stopped reading it as I read the beginning of that chapter.0 0 Reply

Would not recommend this. The MC is just too immature and childish. It has a nice premise but the actual story isn't executed nicely. 1 star.0 0 Reply

very captivating, not sure if this is a video game or a 'real world' scenario but it's been entertaining, and it seems to be building up steam. I'm looking forward to reading more0 0 Reply

This review is occurring in the early stages, but I still find that this story has drawn my interest. The grammar seems to be on point and doesn't detract from the story at all.The personalities of the individuals we've met are starting to be developed, and it's exciting to see how they will shape up over time! The world building is starting to take form and isn't happening in the way of 'infodumps' which is great news for everyone! The first chapter leaves us wondering and questioning, which is great! I hope you give this book a try, it's definitely worth a read!0 0 Reply
