A character with extreme difficulty and the worst performance, Baek Yu-Seol was considered tr*sh in the game because he couldn’t use magic in a fantasy world where everyone else could.

However…

[Due to the wrong ending, 90% of Aether World has been destroyed.][Please reach the ‘True Ending.’]

Suddenly, those words echoed in my mind before I was transmigrated to the Aether World.

[You can use the skill ‘Flash’.]

“Why did I possess this character?”

Flash was the only magic skill I was given.

Surviving in Stella Academy where many genius mages ran rampant, I became the notorious Flash Mage.

At first, I thoroughly enjoyed this narrative; initially, I intended to rate it 4 stars. However, as I drifted off to sleep, I found myself vividly dreaming about the story and its enchanting world, even though it had reached a satisfying conclusion. So, compelled to share my thoughts, I woke up and decided to pen this review, feeling somewhat失落 leaving behind these intricately crafted characters.

Here's a brief summary of the ending: The protagonist successfully saves the world but, as a result of becoming a deity, is unable to remain in our world. Consequently, the six girls in his harem travel back in time to the beginning of their school days, before the MC干预了故事进程, to assist him in completing the tale without his disappearance. This unexpected turn left me feeling incomplete, as there were no additional updates or follow-up stories to continue their journey.

Here's the rewritten passage in English:

    "Simple inquiries:
Are you into the Extraordinary Gaming MC?
Are you captivated by the allure of a cunning villainess?
Do you appreciate a tragic background story?
    Enjoy slow-paced beginnings?
If yes, this might be your cup of tea. It's a galgame dating sim with magical battles and exploration, but it unexpectedly attracts male players. The protagonist, a dedicated gamer, takes on a challenging, low-skill character that requires a decade of effort. After finally defeating the unbeatable boss, they're transported to the game world.

In this world, our MC is significantly weaker than the main characters but excels through wit, experience, and resourcefulness. They often save the day when overwhelming enemies leave others helpless, leading to underestimation of their capabilities. There are intense encounters with overpowered foes who take him seriously, keeping the tension high.

The MC's unique style can be likened to bringing a sword to a gunfight, thanks to a single extraordinary skill. They embody the fantasy of an assassin or mage knight, yet lack conventional power, making every encounter thrilling.

What I adore most are the characters – initially, the MC avoids getting involved, offering guidance and support instead of solving problems easily. Their interactions, including shifts in perspective, create a dynamic where they're seen as an unattainable figure by others.

The love interests are well-developed, each with their own growth, emotions, and struggles, making them stand out from typical harem tropes. It's a delight to follow their journeys.

The plot twist and misunderstandings are cleverly woven, leaving readers questioning the truth. Without giving away too much, let's just say that the story offers a captivating narrative.

I highly recommend this game, and credit goes to the translator for maintaining the essence and clarity in their work. Give it a try – you won't be disappointed!"

You're familiar with the setup: A protagonist finds themselves trapped in a game world, initially appearing under-equipped for success. The early parts shine, with engaging character interactions and captivating action that create a fascinating universe. However, recent chapters face some setbacks.

The narrative focus occasionally becomes unclear, as the reader is privy to one character's thoughts despite being meant to follow another's perspective. Abrupt scene changes can leave readers disoriented, trying to discern whether they've switched to a different character without proper context. This confusion persists until a few paragraphs later when a distinguishing trait or interaction finally reveals the identity.

While I appreciate the book, the current translation inconsistencies detract from the overall reading experience. Split chapters, which seem like an affront to storytelling, further disrupt the smooth flow of the story.

The narrative is intriguing, but unfortunately marred by a lackadaisical translator who fails to proofread their work. The inconsistencies between first and third person, coupled with grammatical mistakes, are particularly noticeable. There's an entire chapter filled with Korean wordplay that the translator simply translates literally, dismissing it as "too difficult to convey." It would be appreciated if they could put more effort into understanding and respecting the source material. Update: The novel has been taken up by Reaperscans, and I'm hopeful for improvements in translation. Will update my review accordingly.

Edit: With a new translator now on board, the situation has significantly improved. If they can skillfully adapt the Korean puns, I will undoubtedly upgrade my rating to five stars.

I dove into the series yesterday and couldn't resist devouring 60 chapters despite the need to navigate through machine translation. The storytelling is impressively well-planned, with a clear narrative progression. The protagonist is a lively character who relishes in enjoyable experiences. The main female characters are equally well-developed, and I appreciate that the author is taking his time to build their relationships without rushing into romance. The world-building and background lore seem rich and intricate, promising an engaging experience.

This is precisely the kind of novel that readers might initially be apprehensive about, but its concept and originality far surpass my expectations. I sincerely hope it will resonate with you too, and it has consistently provided me with immense enjoyment throughout. As I'm relatively new to consistently leaving reviews, I'm unsure if my feedback reaches the wider community, but I do hope it offers some guidance to those on the fence about reading this book. Thank you.

Each character in the story stands out with their unique traits and humor, particularly the main character who often finds himself in comedic situations due to his lack of recollection of the original plot. He must improvise to navigate the storyline rather than strictly adhering to it. The heroines are equally impressive; they are well-developed and far from one-dimensional, each possessing their own compelling motivations.

I am thrilled to witness this translation coming to life! The story is an enjoyable blend of familiar tropes, where the protagonist finds themselves transported into a video game world as their in-game character. Their unique knowledge of the game helps them navigate towards the 'true ending,' while their special skill both aids and complicates their journey. What sets this narrative apart is its strong emphasis on character development and the intriguing concept of how different media shapes the world and alters perspectives. It reminds me of the contrast between The Witcher books and games, where the experiences of newcomers would significantly impact their understanding of the themes and endings. I eagerly anticipate reading more!
