I've read up to 960chapters and the author hasn't stopped making his out of place, cringe references (even if its freaking inner dialogue, it really breaks the immersion) though sadly I did like it when it was serious
It was one of the first novels I read and I was impressed, but around chapter 500-700 it became very repetitive, so I stopped around chapter 743, Because the immortality trait of other heroes is very disturbing, so has it changed now?
The story felt like one of those pick me girls saying “I’m not like other girls” but does the exact same things. The Mc starts off with this whole I won’t trust anyone thing, which he kind of sticks to but then just derails randomly and starts killing people for no reason. Ik they were not good people but why? Then cries and becomes all vengeful for a COMPLETE STRANGER he didn’t know at all. Don’t get me started on the CW show references and the whole copy paste abilities. The story feels planned but very minimally and the plot keeps shifting and developing in the wrong directions. Fe he wanted to die so badly in the beginning, then once he is forced to be reincarnated and finally makes it to the town he’s like “I’m not gonna let this second chance go to waste!” Like where did that mentality come from? I thought u were depressed and wanted to stay dead? Overall just dumb and I can’t even turn my brain off like cultivation novels bc at least that sh*t has constant quality face slapping.
Because he can, you have this logic because of planet earth and mostly religion stuff.
But if you go into another universe, where god interact with the world and won't care about killing and stuff, the world would be totally different from ours. Especially if there is superpowers and magic involved.
Do you think earth would be a paradise if tomorrow, everyone wakes up with powers big enough to destroy cities?
I will tell you what happens, in a month there would be no planet earth anymore
If you’re gonna lecture someone about how a power system influences social standing and interactions please do it right. First of all even if everything you said is true ur point itself makes no sense. Wym “he can” THE WHOLE ARGUMENT WAS ABOUT THE WHY NOT THE HOW. Nobody just gets up and becomes Batman because they feel like it. Sure you could chalk it up to “the snake influenced his mind a little” but not to the point of becoming a new entity. Also moving back to your beautiful response, I didn’t really care about him being ruthless and killing people. I cared about how he did it, no hesitation or remorse just cold and apathetic without any character growth or mind numbing pains or any explanation on how his demeanor became like that (snake excuse coming up lol). To answer the final question, humans main survival trait is our adaptability in all circumstances no matter if it’s hard or complicated we will survive. So with that in mind delve deep and thinkabouttheprocessofchange. Noroom
You are spouting nonsense. First of all he doesn't have to care because he is the Herald of god of darkness.
Second everything he assimilated influenced him with the traits, even if he suppressed them later on he still got a totally different persona.
Third the more you delve into the story and the more he kills without caring, as any veteran warrior would do, in a world you could kill thousands with a wave of your hand.
Your point is influenced by your irl persona, and you are not trying to view this in his place
You’re acting like he wasn’t a human from earth in the beginning. Your argument doesn’t make sense and I get that it’s a different world and they have different styles of living but HE ISNT FROM THAT WORLD. And also delving into the whole consuming things makes my mind more numb thing is a lame excuse that still didn’t matter in that situation because he had barley killed anything in the first few chapters. Listen I’m not trying to argue with someone who has separate “personas” online. Go have fun reading your 8th grade complex stories
