Surprisingly, the original novel fares worse than its manga adaptation due to the elimination of tedious side character thoughts in the latter. The villains are one-dimensional and their irrationality takes up significant space in the story. Chapters often revolve around repetitive character monologues, such as Yurikarina's self-indulgent musings about her perceived beauty and the emperor's affection or Diana's manipulative delusions about the protagonist's relationship.

The main character's business aspirations, which are explicitly stated in the title, are disappointingly underdeveloped. Despite mentioning it only briefly in the first 70 chapters, it takes until around Chapter 120 for her to take any concrete steps towards establishing her venture. Considering the novel's length of 180 chapters, this feels rushed.

Additionally, the excessive focus on the MC's physical appearance – her lilac silver hair and amethyst eyes – becomes tiresome. The author could have shown her growth and development without constantly reminding readers of her beauty. It's clear we've been informed multiple times.

Lastly, the clichéd storyline of a childhood encounter and a love-at-first-sight obsession from a distance, without recognition, feels forced and overly familiar. The narrative seems to consist mainly of 35% villainous banter, 45% descriptions of the MC's appearance and meals, and only 20% actual plot progression.

In summary, while the translation is commendable, the pacing, character development, and overemphasis on certain aspects detract from the overall quality of the story.

I'm currently enjoying a weekly read that provides immense pleasure and satisfaction. It's definitely a 4-star pick, and I believe you'll fall in love with both the main characters and the engaging supporting cast. Although some chapters might feel brief, the translator mentioned they'll be focusing on releasing more content for this particular novel, which should improve the pacing. The division of chapters into smaller sections by the translator might cause some readers to find the flow uneven, but if you read them consecutively, the progression is actually satisfactory.

The emperor, who is ML's father, is portrayed as both attractive and kind-hearted, adding a delightful touch. As for the pace of the novel's beginning, I can't comment since I haven't read it yet. Some have mentioned it's slow, but starting with the webcomic, the progression feels incredibly enjoyable and of high quality, so it might be worth giving it a chance.

Some people unjustly criticize him for his relationships with other women, but it's important to clarify that he never had a romantic connection with Diana; she was merely delusional. In fact, his affection for the MC dates back to when they were ten years old.

I genuinely adore this novel, particularly as a fan of romance. The blend of comedy elements adds an enjoyable twist to the romantic storyline, which keeps me engaged. The protagonist's unique character and unexpected actions make the narrative exceptionally captivating, even if at times his shamelessness leaves me slightly blushing.

One aspect I appreciate is the quick resolution of misunderstandings. Many novels drag these conflicts for too long, causing frustration, but this one handles them efficiently, which is a refreshing change. Of course,初恋情节 might not follow this pattern, but overall, it's a positive aspect.

When it comes to the antagonists, some are portrayed as intelligent individuals, yet their emotional reactions, possibly influenced by the protagonist's behavior, lead to them appearing less so. This actually benefits the protagonist's story without causing significant harm, or perhaps it's because our main character cleverly outwits them with their foresight – it's quite entertaining.

What's even more impressive is her cunning, as she outwits her foes through amusing misunderstandings. I don't have any issues with the story itself, but the translation site has an inconsistency problem. The chapter counts are all over the place, leading many readers to complain about the slow pacing due to frequent, fragmented updates. Just a heads up, there are actually 181 episodes, not chapters, to look forward to.
