The author likely intended to create an impressive, tough protagonist who would leave readers stunned, particularly in the context of intricate royal court intrigue. Reading those passages, I found myself speechless, wondering how anyone could be rendered silent after the MC's words. There are numerous ways for a character to respond to what's said!

The narrative seems more focused on action and plot twists rather than profound character development or sophisticated dialogue. If you approach the story without high expectations based on the summary and title, you might actually enjoy it. However, if you have grand visions from those elements, you might experience some disappointment.

So far, I've reached Chapter 50, but I plan on dropping this soon. I concur with the comments regarding the pacing – it feels sluggish and过于focused on the everyday, which doesn't allow for enough progression within a 100+ chapter story. Having read the manga up until Chapter 20 (or around that), there hasn't been any significant introduction of new characters or major plot milestones. The latest development is that they're即将结婚!

This novel shares some similarities with Milla Vane's A Heart of Blood of Ashes, but as the toned-down YA adaptation, it's unclear how much resemblance will persist. At this point, I'm rather bored and disinterested to continue.

The rating given is 3, indicating a mixed opinion. Here's a summary of the review:

The story pace is criticized for being slow. The villains are seen as shallow and unrealistic, particularly the supposedly powerful queen. There's a concern about character development, specifically the lack of depth in the villain's motivations and an expectation for a more unique main love interest (ML), who appears somewhat generic.

The supporting characters are enjoyable but lack variety, with some characters blindly supporting the main character due to misunderstandings. The main character's abilities and decision-making are questioned, as she often relies on visions that can be predictable and don't seem to reflect her full potential.

Despite these criticisms, the reviewer acknowledges that the story caters to light readers with its cliché yet heartwarming nature, likening it to a Found Family theme. They personally enjoy the story and recommend it for those seeking an easy read. They also mention the translator, Miss Ruby, who is busy with multiple projects, resulting in irregular updates.

In conclusion, while the review points out areas for improvement, it's a positive recommendation for those looking for a simple and enjoyable story, and the reviewer encourages potential readers to be patient with the update schedule.

I recently discovered this captivating novel and binge-read it. So far, I'm a big fan due to its rich political backdrop and intriguing mystery that unfolds gradually. The translation is top-notch.

However, I must caution about a troupe of pesky villains who border on being irritating at times. Fortunately, the author skillfully balances their presence with humor, which often lightens the mood and makes it enjoyable. This book has genuinely had me laughing out loud – quite an entertaining read! 🤣👍

There are also some misunderstandings between the female lead (FL) and male lead (ML), which currently create a slight tension at chapter 177. It remains to be seen if these communication issues will persist and become a long-term annoyance, or if they'll be resolved. For now, the story maintains a solid 5-star appeal, but it could potentially dip to a 4 if the misunderstanding issue drags on. 🤔😊

I appreciate FML's character; she's intelligent, graceful, cool, and self-reliant. Her laid-back demeanor despite the ridicule she faces is endearing. While the male lead isn't terrible, he doesn't quite measure up to my favorite ML from another book. He's somewhere between likable and dull – he respects her even when she's disheveled, and his occasional misunderstandings of FML's non-offensive remarks show a sweet side. However, he lacks dynamism, as the story mostly revolves around FML effortlessly handling her adversaries. It's a bit disappointing that he didn't delve deeper into her past, like reading about her abuse, even if he rationalized it based on her status. I wish he could be more critical and perceptive, especially when it comes to evaluating his future partner.

In terms of pacing, I'm okay with a slower progression, but I don't think rushing her business preparations is necessary given the heightened attention from her enemies. The story should naturally unfold, and I can't help but enjoy the action-packed scenes whenever FML takes center stage with her tea and desserts.

I believe that many of the negative critiques stem from the slow start; a useful tip would be to read the manga up until the halfway point and then proceed with the novel. The narrative itself is quite engaging! Kudos to the translator for their diligent efforts! I particularly enjoy the humor and the misunderstandings – it's absolutely hilarious!

"Current rating: 4 stars. I'm thoroughly enjoying the diverse range of character interactions and the subtle humor suits my taste. I appreciate how the main character embarrasses those around her, even her husband. As for pacing and dialogue, I haven't found any issues, contrary to what some reviewers mentioned. It's great to see RubyMaybe handling this translation project – maybe we'll finally get a complete and well-done Korean novel adaptation! It's unfortunate that many Korean novels tend to be abandoned halfway through."

It's fascinating how she managed to acquire so much knowledge solely from her innate talent. I must say I'm grateful for that, as it allowed her to navigate the manipulations of those who dislike her. However, I can't help feeling uneasy about the blue-haired individual. Regardless of their brother's unfortunate demise, using his death as a pawn to gain sympathy-driven followers is not something I condone.

It appears to be decent, but the dialogue and monologues can be disorienting due to unclear speaker attribution. It seems like the translator might have overlooked that part. As for the main character, I actually quite like her; her laid-back demeanor and ambitious nature appeal to me. However, the portrayal of the male lead as someone with numerous sexual partners is off-putting. I'll update my review once I've completed the book.

I really appreciate the story, but it leaves me wondering if the translator is exploiting our interest. Why not publish the entire chapter instead of dividing it and releasing it piecemeal on Patreon? This manhwa was initially planned to have 183 main chapters and 21 side stories, but now it's surpassed 200 chapters and is still ongoing, which is quite frustrating. Although I'm grateful for the free content, this approach just doesn't sit well with me. I decided to stop reading after Chapter 240.
