This was actually one of my initial BL novels, recommended to me by a friend. As a fan of BL manga and manhua, it was a departure from my usual preferences, so I didn't go in with high expectations. However, once I dove in, I found myself completely engrossed. I couldn't resist setting aside time to devour the next chapter, as the story captivated me with its compelling plot. The dynamic between Xie Yu and He Zhao's relationship was particularly adorable, and I appreciated how the supporting characters were given ample screen time, allowing us to understand their perspectives. After finishing this novel, my standards for future reads have been raised significantly. I wholeheartedly recommend it, giving it a perfect 10 out of 10 score. (๑•̀ㅂ•́)و✧

This brings back nostalgic memories of my high school days. The identity of the main love interest (ML) and protagonist (MC) wasn't clear until midway through the story. The book primarily focuses on their everyday lives and challenges during those years, maintaining a light-hearted tone. There are loose ends, such as the unresolved fate of the friend who moved abroad for education and the stepbrother's response to the MC's academic achievements. I'm unsure if there's a sequel. Their bond is strong and endearing; they have unwavering trust and loyalty towards each other. Overall, it's a delightful read.

I'm curious, where can I locate the additional content? I'm puzzled about the fates of the stepbrother and stepfather. I thoroughly enjoyed this novel; the author devoted ample time to develop the characters, which greatly enhanced the impact of the confession scenes.

"One of my all-time favorite novels! Fortunately, I had the chance to read it before the original source went offline; I even downloaded every chapter because I absolutely adored it. Initially, it might seem a bit slow and confusing (good laugh), but trust me, it's an incredibly rewarding read."

I really enjoy the characters and the straightforward plot. It's a lighthearted slice-of-life comedy that appeals to me. The translation is well-done, although there are occasional moments where I find it less engaging, possibly due to my age (24). This might be more appealing to those who remain youthful or have a vivid imagination. Just to clarify, I think it's a delightful read overall, definitely worth the time and investment. ❤️

If you're familiar with the webcomic 19 Days, the experience resonates after the initial chapters; the abrupt ending left me somewhat disappointed, as I wished for more content (I wanted to continue reading!). It's an excellent book, but perhaps it would be worth waiting for additional materials or a continuation.

This novel is truly delightful; it doesn't drag on excessively like many others, and it avoids the torturous pace of slowburn stories. I believe it's a title that I could revisit and still find pleasure in, even in the future.

This is one of the most delightful danmei stories I've come across. Initially, I read the webcomic and enjoyed it, which prompted me to seek out the novel version. The main characters are charming and their humor resonates with me. What I appreciate is the consistent presence of supporting characters throughout the story, not just as occasional appearances – they may not dominate every scene, but their contributions make them lovable. Although some might find certain parts repetitive, overall, it's an incredible read that keeps me captivated. It's both cute and hilarious, and my personal satisfaction as a reader is what truly matters here. This book has become one of my all-time favorites, consistently ranking within my top three picks.

"It's alright. From my perspective, it lacks depth. It's an enjoyable, lighthearted read, but don't anticipate intricate plot or profound character growth. Essentially, it's a amusing, fast-paced story that occasionally provides some laughter."

"Absolutely a must-read! One of my all-time favorites! I recently discovered it was being translated, but initially, I read it in Chinese and even listened to the audio drama (yes, there's an audio drama, how delightful!) 🌟✨

This book is undeniably one of the most heartwarming stories I've come across. It revolves around the lives of Xie Yu and He Zhao at school, taking you on a nostalgic journey through high school memories. 😊 The development of their relationship feels authentic - the male lead is not your typical overbearing jerk, but a well-rounded character. Their bond is healthy, and the supporting characters, including the female friendships, are portrayed realistically with depth. Each character has their own backstory, adding to the book's relatability.

What seals the deal is the light-hearted and sweet atmosphere, filled with plenty of fluffy moments, humorous exchanges between classmates, and occasional emotional触动. If you're looking for a feel-good, slice-of-life novel, this is the perfect choice. I adore this book so much! ❤️"

P.S. My love for this book knows no bounds!

I appreciated the characters and narrative structure of the story, particularly the well-developed relationship between the protagonists. However, I felt that certain conflicts could have received more attention and deserved a more satisfactory resolution. It would have added depth if the story delved deeper into the backgrounds of both main characters, especially their families and the community where Xie Yu initially resided. Some key plotlines seemed to be underdeveloped, which prevented me from fully engaging with the narrative. If the subplots had been addressed more conclusively, I believe I would have given this a full 5-star rating.

I've attempted to read this novel multiple times, but at this point, I don't believe I'll finish it. It doesn't resonate with my interests. The main characters, MC and ML, are adorable, and their evolving relationship is delightful - a slow, mature, and realistic journey from strangers to lovers that's quite heartwarming. However, the plot lacks momentum; it focuses heavily on their school life and academic struggles, which became monotonous for me to read through. The writing isn't poor, but the constant explanations of their circumstances felt tedious and draining. Despite my appreciation for slower-paced stories, I wished for a more concise narrative. In summary, while it's a decent story, it's just not the right fit for me.
