This is quite adorable due to Dudu's charm. Although her sudden rise to fame might seem excessive, having a solid supporter and landing suitable roles accelerates her path to stardom. In this context, she might appear somewhat overpowered (OP), but considering I recently read a story where the main character excels at everything, Ye Fan doesn't feel that out of the ordinary for me. It's a relaxing read with a blossoming romance, and I appreciate the well-balanced pacing.

I'd rate it 4 stars, mainly because the plot is rather straightforward and some characters lack depth.

The novel began promisingly, but now I find it excessively drawn out. It's unrealistic that the protagonist, a female lead (FL), doesn't conceive without assistance. I understand she aims for the child's best interests, but when the child is emotionally attached to his 'uncle' and desires daily visits, shouldn't she pause and consider the father's rights, particularly if he's loving and understanding? Keeping this secret for so long seems excessive – yes, protectiveness plays a role, but primarily it reflects FL's insecurity and selfishness. She admits it was just her and the baby, fearing the father would take away her child. But the central focus should be on the father. How can one think that way? Initially, adjustment time is necessary, but this拖得太久了. I might revisit the story later, but for now, I simply cannot proceed.

The narrative feels overly idealized, almost like a Mary Sue character, which can become monotonous at times. It's not that the story isn't good; it's just that the constant emphasis on her accomplishments, such as winning Oscars, makes for tiresome reading. I found myself skimming through just to reach the end. I believe the book would have been more engaging if it were a bit shorter. Also, what happened to the fake daughter? After the revelation, she seems to vanish from the plot.

Perhaps I've become too disillusioned with all the clichéd showbiz stories, and this narrative doesn't feel particularly original. FL, with her musical background, can play piano, violin, and numerous other instruments – that's not a big deal. However, it's hard to swallow how someone without acting experience performs flawlessly, rarely needs retakes, garners praise, and becomes a brand ambassador as a新人 – it's a bit too convenient!

ML seems to be an omnipresent presence in FL's life. As a superstar, he must have ample time to accompany FL at the agency, on set, and during shoots, while also managing to spend quality time with the child, whether at the market, amusement park, or their home. It's almost as if he possesses teleportation skills!

The child appears to be shockingly mature for his age – I've interacted with other two- or three-year-olds who are less intellectually advanced than him. His behavior feels forced and out of character, lacking the charm one would expect from a child. Unfortunately, this seems to be a recurring theme in Chinese entertainment.

Online comment sections are filled with individuals with low emotional intelligence, quick to anger and hurl criticism without reservation. The chapters are peppered with such remarks, creating a rather toxic atmosphere.

As my initial "Villain" story, I naturally have a lot of favorable reviews. I'm deeply invested in the characters, especially longing for their family reunion. I'm a dedicated fan of Han Ye, although the progression in their relationships, aside from Ye Fan and Dudu, has been slow, which occasionally feels stagnant. However, the overarching goal of Ye Han and Duo Duo uniting keeps me engaged and excited to continue reading. The story genuinely brings joy and anticipation, making it an enjoyable overall experience.
