“What do you think you’re doing to my daughter? Huh?”

Wolfgang, the eldest son of the Lehman ducal family, realized as a child that he had been reincarnated as the father of the villainess from the otome game Fantasia: The Ballad of the Azure Maiden.

Due to certain circumstances, Wolfgang was unable to use magic properly. This led his parents to abandon the idea of him inheriting the duchy. Instead, they decided he would manage the Count of Zonta territory, which was under the administration of the Lehman Duchy.

However, fate took a turn when his parents died in an accident, leaving behind his younger brother, the heir to the duchy, who was still a child. With no other choice, Wolfgang stepped in as the acting duke until his brother could graduate from the academy and officially come of age.

Following the game’s storyline, Wolfgang married his beloved wife and had a daughter, Louise. Tragically, his wife succumbed to a devastating illness. According to the game, Louise was supposed to grow into a tantrum-throwing, selfish “duke’s daughter.”

But Wolfgang’s personality was entirely different from the in-game version of himself. Because of his unique approach to parenting, Louise’s upbringing veered away from her predetermined fate.

To complicate matters further, events that never occurred in the game began to unfold, revealing that this world wasn’t a perfect replica of the game. Wolfgang assumed that, as a count’s daughter, Louise wouldn’t be engaged to the crown prince like in the game’s storyline.

Unfortunately, Wolfgang’s good intentions backfired, and Louise ended up betrothed to the crown prince anyway. While Louise had grown into a kind and thoughtful young woman, vastly different from the villainess of the game, the crown prince remained exactly the same. At this rate, if the game’s heroine appeared, Wolfgang feared his beloved daughter might still be falsely accused and humiliated.

“Alright. Time to come up with a countermeasure.”

This is the story of a devoted father’s struggle to protect his daughter, who was destined to become a villainess, and the unexpected beginning of a new romance.

first thing : I enjoy this novelthe reasons : - the MC s poised, he keeps his calm even when he is insulted, as he needs to protect his family, so far he's the only that's really done that in what I've read, at the same time he doesn't let weaker people step on him when it shouldn't happen- the MC is not a complete cheat like existence like it often happens, there is a system but everyone has access to it. so far there's only one time during which it can be said there's plot armor (the stone)- In the "cultivation world" there cannot be the intervention of someone overwhelmingly stronger as they go to other areas after becomming strong enough and they can't come back, I think it is great for the stability of the novel, and it enshures there won't be a ridiculous jump in strength coming from nowhere for the MC - the world building has started in the 70ish chapters, so don't worry about it, in any case the novel is likely to have more than 600 chapters (or so I think - in any case it does have a great potential in terms of number of chapters)the last point leads to me criticizing the haters : how THE HELL can you criticize a novel on its world building when you've only read as few as 10-20-30 chapters ???!? are you for real ?! I mean, seriously all the novels I've read on Qidian so far are bound to have hundreds if not more than a thousand chapters, just give the novels a chance to grow and set a foundation for the characters before the world, you are just being ridiculous otherwise, it's like relying on first impression to categorize people, it's nonsensicalThanks for reading me :)

Lol, haters gonna hate~Intriguing novel, not too OP protagonist, nice dark moments, fast-paced, no excruciatingly long arcs, and enjoyable read!

It has everything that a proper trash novel sholud have. An mc with average brains surrounded by super dumb charecters and one dimensional antoganists.story is also of the worst kind - they call him trash and he face slaps them with his cheats help.i also think from reading till latest chapter and their comments that the author might be a racist snob.

I honestly feel that I've found the promised land of novels with this one. I absolutely love the premise and execution in it. My only wish is that it gets more attention and chapters.
