i think the novel is popular just because of the art style in the manhwa (it is very cool), this story is like any regular Korean novel, you enjoy reading the beginning then it turns bland (i read 180~200 chapters) what is the goal of the mc (let's keep it hidden till the final chapters) this is a fighting category (is there someone the mc can't defeat so he works hard to win? he wins the fight every time somehow) no screen time for others his mother was there like what 8 paragraphs?another thing all Korean novels have (a rushed ending) seems like the author doesn't want to write any morei read like 7 novels with same things above maybe more( no doubt they different ideas to write about but still)0 0 Reply

A good story that is ultimately weighed down by two big issues. Firstly, there is such a thing as too much detail. There were many times in the story I was reading when too many small things were talked about. Like going to one place only to be turned away because he needs *blank*. So he goes to get *blank* only for it to be a long drawn-out process. This happens a lot, and I keep asking myself: "Did you really need to take time to include all these useless things?" It really feels like the word count is unnecessarily padded. The other issue is the MC knows LITERALLY nothing. Imagine a little kid following you around asking the most obvious questions for several hours. And no matter how much they learn, even the slightest hint of anything new leads to a barrage of new questions. I'm surprised the MC knows how to BREATHE without being told how to do it.0 0 Reply

Status: 1200+ chapters , completed, epic storylineMC isn't an unfeeling blob nor is he an edgy psycho.Falls into the neutral or chaotic good camp, so sorry if you wanted a villain. However i feel that this story has perfect balance between its many elements. What I like is that the mc makes a genuine connection with the world and people around him and there are plenty of likable side characters. The villains provide a real sense of threat despite the mc being quite OP to be frank. One of my biggest complains with trial read webnovels is that often times the only interesting part of the story is the power system, the world building or some other gimmicky mechanics, and while that is enough to keep my interested in the starting part of the story, once the mc becomes powerful enough i just stop caring, it's not just about lowered stakes its also cause some mc don't really form any meaningful connections or friends or have anything that they genuinely care about, which imo is a very important part of having a soulful and engaging narrative.This story has that good stuff, it's not too much but its there, which makes it worth it.Do give it a try.0 0 Reply
