"My family hides a dark secret. The lies are eating us alive. Time to come out of the broom closet." On the anniversary of a tragic suicide, a diverse group of teenagers is drawn to the Simi Hills in Los Angeles. Others answer the call: Latino brothers battling an ancient curse and modern-day devotees of Charles Manson. Within the Simi Hills is a magical realm concealed by the four directions. To the south are reality stars. West lies a dead president. The mass-murdering Manson family squatted north and the east birthed the porn industry. American Bruja: The Los Angeles Cauldron is a story of family secrets, buried treasure, and one fourteen-year-old girl determined to uncover the truth, no matter the cost.

It's a really good read, plenty of action in the first few pages! My only criticism is the fact that there is barely any info on how he died or what his life was before, hopefully it will be sooner than later.0 0 Reply

Pretty good. It has a lot of typical shonen moments. it has over the top action, and some really cool powers. Like Kitsune, who has one of the most original powers that I've at least seen. It has some flaws though. The writing is good, and the grammer is godlike compared to some other stories I read, but this really, really suffers, from a terrible plot at first. its a slow start and basically nothing happens. but it does get better. I'd say once you get to about chapter 14-15 it gets better? And once you get to the first mission Arc it just gets good.0 0 Reply

The Story is clear and very enjoyable. The reason i gave one off is because the MC is written with hesitation but otherwise its a wonderful story! I recommend a read.0 0 Reply
