It was a good novel but it could of been better with more character development.

I was a fan of the old novel as well. And I read this novel till chapter 201 so far and really liked it as it is a big improvement. This novel isn't perfect but I really liked it. Firstly, the writing quality is top notch. No spelling mistakes, no grammatical mistakes and I personally like it a lot. This blends into combat scenes that are also written very well. It isn't anything revolutionary but the battle scenes are amazing.Secondly, character design. The character design is realistic, though of course slightly fantastical, and just super well done. I did think that some of the girls didn't make much sense to fall for the MC, but after reading more I trust that the author will tie it all in very well.Thirdly, the world background is very interesting and there is a lot of stuff and lore to explore. It is just a very immersive and interesting world I want to read more about.Finally, really good update stability.Now, one of the things I did not like as much about the novel was that the pace was a bit off. It slowed down quite a lot compared to the previous novel which I thought was nice, but at the same time, it felt fast. Just not a big fan of the pacing imo, but everything else is well done.Minor spoilers below:Finally, an MC that isn't an edgelord killing people for fun or having no emotions. This new MC is a breath of fresh air in this platform that I really love. Not only that, he is a very smart MC who is capable of playing high level mind games that I enjoy. I think that the thing author does with hiding MC's thoughts can be annoying, especially when it came to one of the female lead's, cause its hard to understand the MC's true thoughts, but I still loved it. The MC in this novel is a big upgrade.Overall rating: around 8.5-9/10 so far in my opinion. I don't read much on this platform but I loved reading this novel.

I really love the character development and the plot as well as your writing style but I wish to know more about the world the characters are living in. It would be great if you add more world development in the later chapters and also focus a bit more on Eli's romance with Sara.

Yoooo, this book is fire man, got me hooked on the first chapter. I already hate the Uncle, I am gonna be so happy when the MC kills that MoFo, he needs to torture him Wu-Tang clan style!
