The interactions between the MC and the main love interest (ML) were engaging, but they felt somewhat superficial. There were key moments that seemed to be missing, particularly the MC never revealing the truth about his transmigrated self to the ML. This left the ML feeling insecure about their relationship.
Should you read it? It’s decent and better than many other novels, but it lacks depth and the storyline feels flat. However, the characters are likable.
This book was somewhat interesting as an entertainment novel. It avoided the typical shady deals often seen in similar stories. Most of the time, it focused on how skilled the main character (MC) and love interest (ML) were in action scenes, which was indeed impressive. However, the narrative often repeated how the MC acquired various skills and knowledge, which could get a bit tiresome.
The MC’s ability to leave others speechless with his sharp remarks was quite amusing. He was grounded and had a great sense of wicked humor, which might be the best aspect of the novel. The ML also didn’t hold back on politeness just to save face. Additionally, the supporting characters played significant roles in the story.
The plot flowed smoothly, with the villains being dealt with relatively effortlessly.
While this book isn’t among the best, it’s still a decent read if you’re looking to pass some time.
"Like! I haven’t read showbiz novels in a while because most of them are really annoying and make me cringe, but this one is good. It doesn’t have anything that stands out, but it’s also not boring or bad. The antagonists aren’t overly annoying."
Spoiler
Unfortunately, the protagonist never reveals his secrets about transmigrating into the novel to the love interest. We also never get to see how the protagonist fared during the apocalypse.
If you’re in the mood for an entertainment industry novel, definitely give this one a try! The martial arts element adds an interesting twist, though it mainly means a focus on military and action films. No need to worry, just enjoy the ride!
There’s nothing to criticize, and I highly recommend it.
It might be a bit late to the gathering (?), but it doesn't hold back on the PDA 🥺🫣
With 100 chapters, the couple gathers at chapter 70, but the main lead (ML) starts teasing right from the first chapter 🥺
I really enjoyed this read. The main character (MC) is almost overpowered, while the ML is super possessive and sweet 🥺 I love how they got together without needing a dramatic conflict; it’s subtly explained and has a satisfying PDA throughout. The MC was initially insensitive, but once sensitized, she became quite playful 😭😂 Such a fun contradiction!!!
One of the transmigration stories with an epic and well-explained ending—it’s soft, unique, and very satisfying!!!
Another sweet read in the showbiz genre that you should definitely check out in your spare time. It’s refreshing and light.
Jiang Dao never mentioned anything about his past life to Chu Yinlong, and while I'm okay with that, it still seems like it could be interesting to share experiences from another world with someone else.
I got sidetracked and binge-watched Prison Break (the entire series), so I took a break from this, but as soon as I picked it up again, I was immediately hooked once more. Hehe.
It’s a really fun read! Totally recommended!!
I enjoy characters like this with any main character! They're confident, not weak, and don't hold back to prolong misunderstandings. They're lazy yet hardworking and incredibly talented.
Edit: Oh, did I mention that the main character is well-versed in martial arts? And he's skilled with weapons too! He's awesome!!

This story is absolutely amazing! I went in with no expectations and was immediately blown away.
The concept, characters, and storyline are all incredibly engaging! Even the movies they made were fantastic. ❤️❤️
That last extra from the bullets' POV was just so cute!
10/10, definitely give it a try!"
